Take me down to paradise city,where the grass is green and the girls are pretty.Inour winter of discontent music can be what sustains us,it can be nourishment for the soul and its official,rock n roll is good for you.In clinical tests men of science have found the mood of people is lifted by listing to music.Shall we rush around and install PA's and loudspeakers on every corner banging out the best of tunes to help turn a nation back into a little bit of self belief.I guess it would work like supermarket or elevator music.We could also work on flash mobs but what would we would have is flash choirs singing on every street corner to help boost moral.It would seem that we would have to suspend the dail and send the current government to North Korea on a fact finding mission on how to develop infrastructure in a third world country.We would install Bob Geldof as el presedente,with Bono as his jnr. side-kick fight like apes could do a double act could do a double act with the minister of defence mister O' Dee.Hey you guys out there we gotta get out and start enjoying ourself we wont find happieness in a slab of cans,well maybe for the duration of the consumption of said same cans.Theres alot to look forward to in 09,theres Dylan at the 02,Prodigy in Cork,Oasis in Slane as sterling and the euro are nearly worth the same there'l be some great value at the UK festivals this year.So pinch yourself and say we got alot of living to do as one elvis presley would say before he over did it on the cheeseburgers.The Groovy Investigators tips for 09,watch out for these bands.

Id say we will not be bringing our own sound gear and engineer because its an extra cost we can afford at the moment.
