- In 2007, two members of a rock cover band sought a more creative outlet. They began an experimental project to write, record, engineer and produce original music based in, but not limited to, the blues. Formed by the guitar player and his wife/bassist/keyboardist, they dubbed this experiment Dirty Steve. After receiving the support and encouragement of friends and fellow musicians and artists, it was decided to create a page for the original songs and ambient soundtracks of the Dirty Steve project to be heard. Check back with us from time to time as we finish our debut CD and new songs are uploaded....and witness the ever-changing styles and sounds of Dirty Steve.

New songs for movie soundtracks
It had occured to me in recent years just how many of my friends were writing songs for soundtracks.....whether it's for TV, movies, Video games, DVDs, Cable programming, radio commercials etc.
Thus became a new objective for the Dirty Steve project. So far, Breathe In has made it's way onto a couple soundtracks, and a DVD. Our new music is also being considered by a production company for an independant film and a TV show....both in the USA.
Stay tuned to hear these new tracks, and we will keep you posted on the CD release as well!
