Me, Myself, and I
The punk rock scene is often overlooked or snubbed by boring fools that need kicked into touch. If your one of them boring fools go away and smoke your cigar else where before you get several drum sticks wedged in your ear.
The Ramones 1974 - 1996 The Ramones were one of the earliest punk bands to the scene kicking in on January 1974 well before any of the skudpuppetz existed. Sadly this band split up in 1996 leaving 14 albums and many tours to be remembered by.

    Punk Bands

US Punk Bands | Latest Issue

"Dedicated to all the small labels, who are (were) in it for the fun and glory - not just the money" Sleeve note 'Raw Deal' compilation 1977 (Raw Records)

As well as The Clash's and Sex Pistols, Punk threw up a multitude of bands who often released the one single on their own record label before fading into obscurity. Some never even made it that far.

Though this site is primarily concerned with UK Punk 1976-79 I have added a US section as it is impossible to define & describe Punk rock in isolation to the US. Click Here

This section is a continual work in progress and attempts to list all those bands who gave it a go. Old entries for bands are updated and re-written as new info / pictures come to light and are often supplemented with interviews and recollections. Check out the the latest issue of Punk77 to see recent changes/additions.

    Susie by Susie
I did hear some rumours around the internet that Daft Punk would release CD at 2009...but as I said its only rumours between fans...the argument has actually symmitrical logical reasoning and it goes that Daft Punk is releasing new CD every four years (Homework-1997, Discovery-2001, Human after all-2005)...another thing if you've got January issue of Mixmag at wishlist 2009 page there is part which says that "A new Daft Punk album"...i think its a hint from best mag ever)
