BIG Brother babe Jennifer Clark has spoken for the first time about how her “jealous” ex tried to wreck her romance with Dale Howard.



She accused her estranged husband David, 24, of betraying her by sparking rumours that they were back together again.

Jennifer was pictured last week walking into a hotel with David – with whom she has a daughter – then checking out the following morning.

It led to speculation that Jen, 22, had been reunited with her husband and had decided to dump Dale, the man she fell for during her time inside the telly house.

But the tearful lass insisted that she had been “set up” by her ex, who sold her out to try to ruin her chance of romance with the BB hunk, 21 – who left the house last Friday.

Jen said: “I have told Dale everything about that story. It was just a picture and it doesn’t mean anything.
“It was set up to throw people off the idea that there is any future for me and Dale. My husband is jealous.

Jen’s hotel experience has made her scared of her husband. She said: “I don’t want him to know where I am. I’ve had to move down south, but I can’t say where. I am just taking it day by day.”

She added: “I’m wary of him. He’s unpredictable.

“He can be so lovely but he’s been ­ruthless and aggressive in the past.”

Jen said that, after a series of private rows with family and friends back home in Durham, she turned to her estranged husband for help.

She had no money and nowhere to stay for the night, so she asked him if he would come to her rescue.

He offered to put her up in a hotel. But she claims he tipped off a newspaper that they were “back together” while Dale was still inside the Channel 4 house.

And she claims he told photographers where they could get a snap of them.

Jen said: “David and I still see one another, because we have a child. But it wasn’t my ­intention to see him that day.
“Last week, I had a problem with the family and I asked him to help me out in an hour of need.

“That is why I was pictured with him. He put me in a hotel. I had zero money.

There was nothing else to do.

“I was having private problems with family and friends, and asked him for help. I had to go somewhere.

“He said he would help me out. What I didn’t know was that, behind my back, he rang a paper and tipped them off.
“He was trying to ruin things for me. I know the truth and I have told Dale.

The photo shows me walking into a hotel. There isn’t a picture of us kissing or anything. I wasn’t trying to hide. I have nothing to hide.”

Jen said David had phoned and texted her since she was reunited with Dale, but insisted: “I’ve got no wish to speak to him right now.”

She added: “My opinion of men may change thanks to Dale. He is the ­complete opposite to other men I have encountered. I hope he can restore my faith in men.”

Dale admitted he was shocked when he read the story about Jen and her estranged husband.

He said: “It isn’t really my place to comment. But I trust Jen. She has told me exactly what went on and I believe her. That’s all that matters.”

Smitten Jen also revealed how, after her eviction five weeks ago, she would stay up until the early hours watching the E4 live coverage – just to see Dale.

She said: “I missed him so much. I lost count of the nights I fell asleep watching the live streaming and looking at Dale, then woke up at 5am with the TV still on and the housemates in bed.

“It was the only way I could still be with Dale, through the telly. Now he’s out I have no reason to watch the show. No-one else in there interests me.”

Dale was voted out of the BB house by viewers after being put up for eviction for the first time last week, alongside Stuart Pilkington, 25.

And naughty Jen also confessed that she toyed with the idea of running up her phone bill.
