- The Big Fish Café is an event for young people aged 12-25
With live music, DJ's & games
The events are at Seaton Methodist Church on the Saturday at the end of 2nd and last week of each school half term
Don't just come along, get involved
We are looking for;
Young people with bands or who would like to start a band,
+ Musicians, DJ's, singers, dancers, performers of any kind.
+ Young people who would like to help set up and run the event
+ Either experienced technicians or young people who would just like to learn how stuff works.
+ Young people to help run the non-alcoholic bar

Bad News
We have unfortunately had to cancel the Big Fish Café Tensing concert due to illness among the choir. We send much sympathy to the Tensing members, get well soon.
For any young people who were planning to come to the concert we will be having a casual chillout/barbecue in the evening (Debs & I will aslo be spending the afternoon tidying up the youth room if anyone wants to come and help us out there).0 commentaires 135 jours

Who's coming on the 8th August
Over on Facebook we already have 28 people confirmed, 33 maybes and 169 awaiting confirmation. So it would be interesting to know how many beboers might be going as It looks like its going to be a big night. If you think you might come along wb to this blog.

On the surface the Big Fish Café is nothing more than a fun place to hang out with your friends and perhaps to share in being creative together. If that’s all you want from this event then there is no pressure or expectation for you to treat it as anything other than that, and don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. But if you feel like something at the event has led you to ask deeper questions of yourself or the world around you, or if you find that you are at a point in your life when you are seeking some deeper meaning, then for you there may be a whole other level on which the Big Fish Café could be useful or even life changing.0 réponses 26 semaines
