While shopping, Lauren invites Audrina to a barbeque at Frankie's house that evening. Sensing Audrina's hesitation, Lauren asks her if she's spoken to Brody since their Hawaii sleepover. When Audrina says no, Lauren tells her Brody told his girlfriend, Jayde, about what happened with Audrina while they were on vacation. Now the couple has been fighting for days about the situation, and Jayde is mad at Audrina. Audrina says she understands where Jayde is coming from but doesn't think her sleeping with Brody was wrong at the time. Lauren shrugs and muses,"It's not fun when vacation baggage follows you home."

Meanwhile, Heidi is on a coffee-break at Bolthouse when she tells a co-worker that she intercepted a text message from Spencer's phone. Apparently, Stacie, a bartender Spencer had been hanging out with recently, sent Spencer an invite to meet her at H.Wood that night. This upsets Heidi, because Spencer claims he hasn't been in contact with Stacie since they began couple's therapy. Heidi decides she's going to H.Wood to get some answers.

Later that afternoon at Doug and Frankie's house, Lauren and Lo arrive at the barbeque where everyone is happy to see them. But the mood quickly turns tense when Frankie announces that Audrina is on her way. Brody runs tries to relax a visibly annoyed Jayde. "You relax," she snaps at him.

That night, Heidi arrives at H. Wood with Stephanie and her sister Holly. Heidi recaps the text message story with her new audience and everyone concludes that Stacie needs to back off. When Stacie finally arrives with her friends, she spots Heidi and walks over to say hello.

As soon as Stacie sits down, Heidi confronts her about the text invite she sent to Spencer. The two shout back and forth over the loud club noise. Stacie claims Spencer never told her to stay away from him and asks Heidi why she is mad at her for Spencer's actions. But Heidi doesn't let up. She tells Stacie that she hopes Stacie someday knows how it feels "to have a conniving girl come into your life." Stacie bites back asking Heidi,"How does it feel to have a conniving boyfriend?" She warns Heidi that there will always be another Stacie, wishes her luck with Spencer and walks away.

Back at Frankie's party, Audrina arrives and is greeted by Lauren. Brody quickly approaches Jayde and asks her to drop her frustrations over the sleepover with Audrina. But, clearly, Jayde is not letting it go that night. She gets into an argument with Frankie and Brody over what really happened the night Audrina slept in Brody's room. So, Brody gives up and asks Jayde to leave him out of it.

Soon Audrina spots Brody across the room and blows him a kiss. Brody gives her a friendly hug hello. All of this is not lost on Jayde, who, armed with a drink and two friends, pulls Audrina aside. Brody sees the ambush coming and intervenes by telling everyone that the conversation is between Jayde and Audrina. So, Jayde's friends leave her and Audrina to hash out their problems one-on-one.

During the confrontation, Audrina tries to reassure Jayde that she did nothing wrong, but Jayde does not believe her. Jayde insists that more than chatting and sleeping happened in her boyfriend's bed that night. The conversation quickly ends with Jayde storming off and Audrina saying she's leaving. Brody immediately apologizes to Audrina for her having to deal with the drama and hugs her goodbye. He then walks over to Jayde who is angry with Brody for hugging Audrina goodbye and caring about her feelings. "I don't care if she's okay and you shouldn't either," she yells and begins swigging a bottle alcohol. Brody gives up, and Jayde drinks away her frustrations.

The next day, Heidi and Spencer are back at Dr. Jordana Mansbacher's office for another therapy session. Heidi admits she intercepted and deleted the text Stacie sent to Spencer. Spencer is upset that Heidi is looking through his phone, and Heidi wants to know why Stacie is still interested in him. As

Arriving at the airport in Oahu, Hawaii, Lauren, Audrina, Lo, and Stephanie laugh about how mad the guys will be once they discover the girls have crashed the boys-only weekend. When they arrive at the resort, the guys are surprised to see them, but all's well when someone suggests having a group shot.

As the girls lay out on the beach watching the guys surf, Stephanie turns to Audrina and asks, "Are you checking out Brody?" Audrina laughs, and then Stephanie goes on to ask about Justin. Audrina tells her that he texted her that morning, and explains that they have a hate-love relationship... that's not even a relationship. Stephanie begins to tell Audrina that she can't keep waiting around for Justin, but Audrina firmly states that she's not.

In LA, as Heidi and Spencer browse the selection at Barnes & Noble, Heidi mentions that Colby, her ex-boyfriend, is coming to town and wants the pair to have dinner with him. Spencer gives her a hard time about it and jokes about Colby going to "Bible College," but Heidi insists that meeting Colby will be good for him.

Back at the Turtle Bay Resort in Hawaii, everybody is relaxing in the hot tub when Stephanie asks, "Who's single here?" She focuses on Audrina, asking if Justin is at least on the side, but Brody steps in and explains that if she meets a guy who blows Justin away, she will absolutely go for that guy.

At the XIV Restaurant in Hollywood, Spencer continues to give Heidi a hard time, stating that he only agreed to meet Colby for dinner because Colby is a virgin and therefore Heidi and he have only gone to first base. Colby and his girlfriend, Ashley, arrive and introductions are made. When Ashley comments on how different Heidi looks after having seen pictures Colby's mom showed her, Heidi abruptly changes the conversation to drinks. Spencer suggests Patron Platinum, but Colby and Ashley both agree to have water, pointing out that neither of them drink. Spencer goes on to ask about their hotel, asking if the room is nice and big, but Colby and Ashley tell him that they have two rooms and explain that they were raised not to do certain things. Spencer then invites Colby to hit the gym with him tomorrow and go boxing, adding, "I know you've got some aggression to get out."

In their room at the Turtle Bay Resort, Stephanie announces that she thinks Brody is pissed, but Lauren assures her that the guys wouldn't be going to dinner with them if they were angry. While Audrina and Stephanie are in the bathroom doing their hair and makeup, Stephanie brings up Brody. Audrina says there's always been an attraction but they've just never gone there, causing Stephanie to ask, "You're gonna hook up with Brody, aren't you?" Audrina says no, but is not entirely sure why, and then Stephanie suggests that she do it to get Justin back.

The next day, Spencer and Colby meet at the Spectrum Fitness Club to work out. Spencer is still baffled by the fact that Colby is a virgin, and Colby tries to explain his lifestyle and beliefs. He points out that where he goes to school, everyone is religious and they have all maintained their virginity. Spencer comments, "You are just a trip to me, you're like hanging out with an alien from another planet."

At dinner, Lauren laughs while toasting to the best guys trip ever. Everyone seems to notice some flirtation going on between Audrina and Brody, and Doug calls out, "You guys should just get a room already!" After a pause, Audrina shrugs and admits, "I'm not gonna lie, I've always had a little crush."

At Heidi and Spencer's apartment, Spencer and Heidi sit down with Colby and Ashley to have a Bible study session. Colby starts off by showing Spencer the verse in the Bible that states you can't have sex until marriage. When Spencer starts texting and stops listening, Heidi gives a deep sigh to get his attention. Ashley says, "Just think how nice life would be if everybody just loved each other and listened." Spencer answers irritably, "So

It's fitting that this episode of The Hills is titled "Crazy in Love," because some strange relationships are under the microscope. As Audrina tries to get over Justin, she sees Brody in a whole new light. Plus, Heidi drags Spencer to couples' therapy in an attempt to make their relationship work. And if that wasn't enough drama, Lauren's reputation is on the line as Stephanie has a hard time handling her work at People's Revolution, where Lauren called in a favor to score her an internship.

As the episode opens, Lauren and Audrina are having a drink together at Big Wangs. Audrina expresses her reservations about dating again after the way things turned out with Justin. She points out that she feels like she moves from one relationship to another, and Lauren assures her that she's allowed to date. "If you see anyone that's my type," Audrina says with a laugh, "send him on over."

At People's Revolution, Stephanie is packing a box of clothes while asking Lauren about her responsibilities. As Kelly Cutrone comes through the office, she scolds Stephanie for leaving her garbage lying around on the desks, then empties the box Stephanie's packing and tells her to start over. Kelly explains to a shocked Stephanie that instead of throwing clothes into a box, she needs to think about the designer receiving the package, and what they'll think of how their clothing has been handled. After Kelly irritably answers a few of Stephanie's questions about how to better organize the packages, she turns to leave, but not without warning, "I am watching you, Stephanie Pratt."

Outside Bolthouse, Spencer calls his estranged girlfriend from the parking lot and says, "Yo Heidi, your favorite stalker is parked outside in your alley." Heidi comes down to meet him, coldly agreeing to his request to discuss the state of their relationship. When Spencer says that he doesn't want to feel "caged up and locked down," and that he wants to be able to go out and have drinks with other people -- including other girls -- Heidi snorts about his wish to "sneak out" and "do God only knows what you do with Stacie." Spencer unsurprisingly interrupts to matter-of-factly state, "She's not my type. She doesn't have blonde hair and I'm into blondes." Unconvinced and unbending, Heidi again lays out her ultimatum, saying she's done unless they head to therapy. Spencer tries to make it sound ridiculous that the couple should put their relationship "in some strangers hands," this time it's Heidi's turn to cut him off with a curt, "We are," that ends the conversation.

Then the scene switches nighttime at Coco De Ville, where Lauren, Audrina and Lo meet up with Brody and Frankie for drinks. When Brody mentions an upcoming trip to Hawaii to Frankie, Lauren asks why she wasn't invited. Brody explains that they planned it as a guys' trip, asking, "Do you surf?" "No," she says, "but I lay on a beach!"

Laughing, he assures her that the girls will be included in the next trip they take.

A few minutes later, the girls spot Justin across the crowded club, and he makes his way over to give Audrina a quick hug. After he leaves, Brody leans over to Audrina and says, "That was kind of awkward," When Brody questions the state of her relationship with Justin, Audrina shrugs it off. In an effort to make her feel better, Brody tells her she's beautiful and should be out having fun.

The next morning at Audrina's house, she and Stephanie talk about what's going on with Justin. Audrina explains that Justin was acting shady at Coco De Ville the night before. Stephanie suggests that it would probably be best to talk to him one last time so they could end on good terms, and Audrina agrees that she definitely wants to talk with him.

That night Audrina and Stephanie hang out with Brody and his girlfriend, Jayde, at the deafeningly loud nightclub Apple. Brody decides to call Spencer to invite him along on the trip to Hawaii. Spencer, who's sitting on his couch, uncomfortably decli
