- Marching Band is Erik Sunbring and Jacob Lind from Linkoping, Sweden. According to this dynamic duo, all they need are two bikes, one laptop, three microphones and their keen sense of whimsical instrumentation.
Marching Band is an indie rock band based in Linköping, Sweden. In 2008, their first full-length album "Spark Large" was recorded and highlights the bands one of a kind indie pop sound. While the group does use the mainstay rock sounds of guitars, drums and bass guitar, they also employ an array of more eccentric musical instruments for a indie pop band, such as xylophone, marimba, banjo, vibraphone and unique vocal harmonies.

MARCHING BAND NEWS August 1, 2008
Hey All,
We've had a crazy couple of weeks in preparation for our upcoming debut release "Spark Large" (August 5th) and we're coming back to the states in September.
September 8th, 2008 we will be playing live on KCRW's Nic Harcourt's Morning Becomes Eclectic (9am-12pm)
We have also finished filming a video for our single "Make up Artist" and we've debuted on the CMJ radio charts at 68 with more than 40 stations now charting spins, which is overwhelming.
We're also very excited about our inclusion in the Sony Picture Film "Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist" starring Michael Cera (Juno, Superbad). Our original composition "Trust Your Stomach" will be featured on the soundtrack alongside Vampire Weekend, Band Of Horses, Modest Mouse, The National, Mark Mothersbaugh and more.
We'll update you on tour information within the next two weeks.
