Ballaghaderreen Red Cross we are up and running for about 3 years.
We are a voluntary organization reliant on the generosity of the public.
We provide first aid courses for the general public, we provide ambulance cover for events also.

- So let's see who had we, Tom and Andrew, Kieran and Yvonne. 5 from Ballaghdreen Seamus, Cormac, Louise, Sarah and Sinead. And 8 from Claremorris Matthew B, Evan H, Keith, Kelly-Anne, Evan S, Lisa, Teddie and Dylan. Forest walk, Volleyball, Jumping in bog holes and rivers and jumping in PUDDLES, Archery, High Ropes, Rock Tower, Climbing Wall, BBQ, Surfing. It was great craic and I think everyone enjoyed themselves but jeez I don't know about you but I was wrecked!!!

A memorial mass
As i am sure you are aware in September 2007 two firefighters, Brian Murray(SSO) and Mark O'Shaughnessy (FF) were killed in the line of duty serving there community of Bray Co. Wicklow.
A memorial mass which is being offered in Holy Redeemer Church Main Street Bray on Saturday 26th September 2009 at 3pm to celebrate there 2nd anniversary. All are invited to attend and refreshments will be served afterwards in the Royal Hotel Bray..
