- DSBM (Depressive Suicidal Black Metal) is a sub genre of the black metal art, where the music plays a very dark, almost depressing atmosphere that gives you the gloomy, sad impression on life, depressing you with the desperate cry of haunted screams, to the suicidal vibe of guitars. DSBM is primarily distinguished from traditional forms of black metal by its lyrical content, focusing on suicide, depression, anxiety, and hate rather than traditional anti-Christian themes.

Sancta Poenas are decent, but the vocals are annoying in places
Anyone who likes Lifelover should check out Sancta Poenas, they're surprisingly good.
Nah, the ones highlighted in the blog aren't highlighted for talent, just that they're the more well-known DSBM bands, and the better entry-level ones.
