    • Vasco Junior - Everybody Back On The Bus out Fri 1st May

      Vasco Junior's debut album EVERYBODY BACK ON THE BUS is out this Friday May 1st. It will be availavle from HMV, Tower and iTunes for only 10 blips (i think!!!). As part of the release we will be doing an instore in HMV Henry Street this Friday at 5 pm, come along buy album and hear us play a couple of acoustic tunes.

      The same night we will be playing a full set in The Village of Wexford Street, great venue!! Special guests on the night are The Gandhis www.myspace./thegandhis and Rob Smith www.myspace.com/robsmithireland
      Doors open 8pm and admission is FREE!!! Yes that's right fucking FREE so fuck the recession and come along!!!

      Also on Friday morning we will be appearing Spin 103.2 breakfast show Fully Charged so tune in from 6.45am-9.45am or listen online at www.spin1032.com

      We have a mini tour over the next two weeks and few other radio slots taking in Galway, Portlaoise, Tallaght, Waterford, Cork and Kerry with more to be added.

      Things kick off this week on Wednesday night on the Phantom 105.2fm I-Con show with Cathal Funge. We will be profiled on The Listening Post so listen in from 10pm-12midnight.

    • "Everybody Back On The Bus"

      Hi Folks

      Right so final update before the big day.
      The album is mixed/mastered and has gone to print we've done everything we can with it now and are very proud
      of the outcome.Although he supports the worst team in the premier league and is slightly obsessed with Fantasy
      Football Andy Knightly from K recording (www.myspace.com/krecordingmobilestudio ) has done an amazing job of capturing
      The Bands energy and we feel the Album represents the band perfectly.Special praise needs to also go out to Fergal Davis(www.myspace.com/fergaldavis)
      who mastered the album.

      The Album will be titled "Everybody Back On The Bus" and will be released on the 1st of May with a launch gig @ The Village on
      Wexford Street.The gig will be a FREE GIG and we have an amazing line up to accompany us on the night.Kicking off the night
      acoustically will be the fantastic Rob Smith(www.myspace.com/robsmithireland) who's music is described as mixing Stone roses
      with a twist of Paul Weller.Following on from Rob Will be the superb "The Gahndis" who we first met last summer while promoting "falll".We were
      at a festival down the country and somehow the booking agent for the festival decided to book ourselves and the gandhis for what was
      prity much a metal festival which was interesting.

      Anyway we have a bit of a mini tour planned for the Album,the dates are below.More gigs will be added and we hope to see you guys out
      @ The Village and considering its a FREE GIG we'll all be expecting a few Pints from you all

    • Album Update 2,Riot on Sunset,etc etc......

      Hi Folks

      About time for Another update.Thats it the Album Is finally finished
      all recording is done Name is picked as is the track list(but i'm not tellin ya what it is)
      Were are very proud of how the album sounds already and we haven't even mixed it yet,
      Were back in the first week of Feb to do the mixing and are currently sorting out the
      album artwork so all very exciting......

      Also We got added by 272 Records to there "RIOT ON SUNSET VOL 15" Compilation Album
      which showcases the Best emerging talent from around the globe and will be distributed
      to Twenty thousand American Radio Station and Also be on Sale Across America but you can
      get it from www.amazon.com, Think its released the first week in February.Its a great
      honour to be hand picked from millions of bands around the world to feature on the album
      "Fall" is the song they picked.

      We got a small mention in this addition of "Hotpress" Magazine by the lovely Roisin Dwyer
      Just saying about the album and congratulating Dermo on The wedding which was nice.

      The Single's Fall and Despised are still getting a Rake of Airplay which is amazing and even
      more amazing is they are still selling all be it in small quantities but have been selling in
      America,Luxenburg,Australia,German
       y,Sweden,France as well as Ireland
      Which is very Cool

      And last but not least we were shortlisted for 98fms Best New Band.Alas we didn't win
      but To have gotten to the last 5 bands out of 100's of entry's is always a good result
      and sure we'll settle for a top 20 album instead......

      So all in All Everything is going very well
