- I'm Ross, I'm a computer programmer, a guitarist, a photographer and general all round nice guy. I don't drive, I'm an amazing basketball player and a decent boxer but a SHIT football player and I can't sing to save myself. I hate everythin about football. I read alot, I love film and some TV and I'm fascinated by anyone who is fascinated by anything.
And most of all I love originality and anything that is an instrument of expression!!!

Paris
Weekend in Paris with Pam went well, in 3 days we managed to cram in the Seine, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Sacré-Cœur, Musée du Louvre, Père Lachaise Cemetery and Notre Dame...was loads of fun and loads of work. We had one of the best meals ever, some of the worst restaurant service ever; even gave Escargot (snails) a go, yum!
Sadly we never got to climb the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame because the queues were stupidly long and didn't get to scale the arc because there was some military ceremony on at the time. We did go all french bohemian and have a few drinks on the stairs of the Sacré-Cœur at night while some dudes sang an operatic a cappella version of Green Days Basketcase.
All in all a fantastic little holiday with the longest trip home.0 komentarze 70 dni

London - Barcelona
Ok so London got cancelled a little meaning that I still had to travel overnight for 8 hours on a bus, just to get another bus when I got there, a flight to Barcelona then another bus into the city but Barcelona was fun, much fun. I woke up to the whole front of the bus screaming at one point and shit myself, apparently some woman had fallen asleep, nearly fallen of her seat and woke with a start; everyone, having heard this but still sleeping themselves thought there was something wrong and started screaming also....fucking crazy people!
Barcelona was great, we fitted right in. The first pub we went to had Desperados, the second we made friends with the bar staff and all the PR people as well as some French girls and went on a pub crawl with them all - great night of doing the YMCA on stage with a bunch of Ozzy guys and French gals. We also went on another pub crawl the next night with like 40 people, mainly Ozzies but also some Glasgow folk, English people and a ton of other nationalities. Obviously Drew tried it on with every girl in our company and got shot down like he does but he also was obsessed with the barmain in the Travel bar, Bianca...pestering her to come out with us or give him her number until she started avoiding him.
We got to see most of the main tourist attractions and hung around with three very cool Ozzy chicks but seeing FC Barcelonas home stadium was the most wasted money of all that I spent, what a pile of pish. Watching a grown man (Drew) get exited because he's in the same room as where some dudes get changed or that he lifted the same inanimate object that other dudes have lifted...yawn. Regardless of me going along to this crap and making the effort, he still had no problem bad mouthing me, like he does to anyone who will listen and texting his girlfriend like a little moody girl because, and I quote "if [I] fucking listened to [him] once in a while and didn't think [I] was always right then [he] wouldn't need to let off steam about [me]" ... man up Drew! Good job I exepected it all, couldn't give a fuck and spent my time with interesting foreigners.
On our first night we were attacked by mad zombie prostitutes. "I suck you dick?" I was like, "nah"...she went for my pockets and they all swarmed me trying to steal my shit but I was like KIAAYY!! and kicked dose' bitches to da' kurb! Fun shit! Let that be a lesson to you kids, Las Ramblas is fun during the day (when there isn't weird dudes dressed as babies jumping out and frightening the shit out of you) but at night its like dawn of the dead prozzies and pickpockets...stay away at night!!
All in all, it was a GREAT trip regardless of fun-killer Drew and I met some GREAT people, many of whom offered a place to stay when I'm in their country and said they would come visit Scotland

Montreal and New York
Just back from Montreal. The flight back consisted of a 3 hour check in, 2 hour flight to Philadelphia, 7 hours and 45 minute transfer wait then a 7 hour flight home....19 hours...I'm fucked.
Anyways, the first holiday of this block was rather successful, stayed with Alice and while she was at work her poly-lingual friend Brian was my tour guide. I travelled all over Montreal, visited a bunch of pubs and restaurants, had cool French and Italian people cook for me at home and had some rather kickass get togethers. I talked dirty with a hot French girl (video on the way) and climbed the 800 foot namesake mountain of Montreal, Mont Royal in the pitch darkness, through a dense forrest at 4am so that I could catch a sunrise that was blocked by cloud; one of the scariest experiences of my life but worth it I visited a University in the middle of 'Freshers Week' that was just like those on TV with crazy students gathering in a field and screaming sports slogans, sexual inuendos and beer guzzling...three cheers for McGill, FUCK FUCK FUCK!! Fuck the bumblebees!!!
In Montreal - and I'm told Quebec - they have taken chips, cheese and gravy and renamed it "Poutine" then claimed it was their discovery and it's kind of a national dish.
Me and Brian also crossed the border to the states to visit Plattsberg in northeastern New York. A very nice little town with great pizza and the most American looking housing EVER!

Yeah it was good, Suzi was out with us and I havent been out wi her in so long. I'm goin to her halloween party again this year. Last year I dressed up as bat girl and I did Neil up as the joker (heath ledger style) it was really cool. This year neil is edward scissor hands and I was contemplating going as Edwina scissorhands lol (can you tell I'm a fan of tim burton and johnny depp lol) We were gonna go as sweeney todd and mrs lovett but noone will know I who i am xx
