Youth Council
Youth Council
Young people are an important part of society. Nearly a quarter of our national population is made up of people under the age of 18.
Yet you are often treated as though you are unimportant when it comes to listening to your views and giving you a chance to contribute to decisions that affect YOU.
Fed up of not having a voice?
Here at Term Time, we believe that young people are the future, and we want to hear what you have to say.
That’s why we’re launching our first ever national ‘Youth Council’.
We’re giving you a voice to say what you really think about the issues that matter to you, and discuss your experiences and ideas about what’s happening at your school.
In September we’ll be holding “The 2008 High School Debate”, a live debate on the issues facing you at high school today.
We’re looking for 12 members to be on the council. Anyone can apply, as long as you go to school in the UK and are aged between 11 and 16.
