Boyzone was born in 1993 after band manager Louis Walsh placed an ad calling for auditions. The five lucky boys finally selected from the hopeful 300 were; Ronan Keating, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy. The band were best known for their hits and had a legion of female fans.
The boys released a total of eight albums and had 16 top-five singles before splitting in 2000. Since they split, the members of Boyzone have all done a variety of things. Ronan Keating went on to have a successful solo career, Stephen Gately also attempted a solo career before taking to the West End stage, while Shane Lynch appeared on Celebrity Love Island. Mikey Graham went on to become a music producer, while Keith Duffy turned his hand to acting and even scooped a part on Coronation Street.
In November 2007, it was confirmed that Boyzone were back, and are better than ever!
