Tutto su di me
I don't like these things so I will sum myself up in an incredibly roundabout fashion:

1. Days are never fun if everything goes to plan

2. Nights are never fun if you know everyone there

3. Mornings are never fun if you know where you are when you wake up

4. Everyone is your friend

5. Normal is boring

Take what you want from that, I don't really care :D

Other then that, I'm Dom. Laid back and pretty mental. I don't like stupid people, all-too-serious people or stereotypes. I do like people who can hold an intelligent conversation or make me laugh, preferably both :D I'm the the PMGF scheme now, and once I learn how to upload photos then my profile will rock
Music
Everything. Rap, Rock, core, dance, house, jazz, techno, drum 'n' bass, trance rock and all those little mix ups of the music. It's pretty hard to find a serious song I don't like :P

  • China, first 2 weeks

Sorry about the lateness, I should be paying more attention to my media but I haven't had the time or energy to do it to be honest. The first 2 weeks have been a killer, full schedules and everyone being sick (understatement)

Our average day would be get up at 6am, go to tai ji until 8am. Go to chinese lessons at 8:40am (please note that there is no time for breakfast :P ) stay there and learn chinese for 3 hours. Then we would have a small amount of time for lunch (30 minutes?) then go and do a company visit or a cultural excercise. This would last til about 18:00, where you would then be free to collapse on your bed and sleep until the next morning :D Add to that the hourrendous street stall cheapo fast food diet we live on and you get very ill very quick. I've only just recovered today infact, after being sent back to the hotel to rest lol.

We have met a bunch of friends here though. Ex-pats and chinese helpers among the best (Jackie being a friggin legend of course) Days out in Shanghai are bloody immense, shopping is ace here. £4 for a shirt (Fake, but who cares) and all sorts. Went to a park the other da to visit the community, and me and Josh got engaged in a game of Tai Ji ball. Indescribable, sort of like badminton but catching the ball and throwing it between your legs and stuff. Very tiring in 40 degree temperatures and 90% humidity.

Some people do piss me off immensly though. I really thought I was a tolerant person, but I just cant stand too many arseholes all round me at once. Thats been a main factor in me being a bit annoyed, but everyones gone into their little groups now :D Anyway, it's friday night so we have to get ready for a night on the Bund ;)
