- I'm a Canadian writer, living in Britain, and I've been freelancing part time since the turn of this new century. Most of my writing is history, arts/music and human interest stories. History always arouses my interest - I love to learn about people and events of bygone days. But I'm also intrigued by contemporary people who have interesting stories to tell as well as music personalities whose unusual lives many of us are curious about. I've had articles printed in Canadian and Irish newspapers and magazines including the Toronto Star, Derry Journal, Banbridge Leader and Ireland's Own magazine.
My first novel, 'Hitler and Mars Bars' was released this year. It's an historical fiction about a German boy's journey to manhood in war-torn Germany and post-war Ireland. You can find out more about it at:

Hi Dianne,
I like historical fiction. I will check out your book.

I, too, am fascinated by history, but even my romances aren't pure romance. I mix action/adventure with a little intrigue, add passion and a touch of the paranormal or spiritual in almost everything I write.
Where would we be without our blessed imaginations?

Hi Dianne,
I tel you what, it was one of the scariest experiences of my life. It took great courage. My husband said my face was white and i was trembling. The photo is most uncomplimentary.
Have you kissed the Blarney stone? The grounds in Blarney castle are beautiful. I am glad you are my friend.
My husband, Granddaughter and I have recently returned from Ireland. We went looking for relatives in the south -Port Laoise. Found a tombstone and some interesting information from the locals.
We love Killarney and we kissed the Blarney stone so now I have the gift of eloquence. For a writer I reckon that's pretty essential.
Best wishes,
Wendy (called 'stubborn Irish' by my better half)
Tanks for adding me, Dianne!
I'll give a look at that book you wrote, it sounds so great you published it!!
It's so interesting you're a professional writer!!
Not my scene, thanks, Christine.
