- Hiya all! The Ark are starting a new Film Project! woop woop!
How often do you get the chance to be in a film!?! Or help in the behind the scenes stuff (if acting isn't your thing). Leave us a comment if your interested. You can be involved as little or as much as you want! =)

- The rough idea is to tackle the issue of alcohol!!! ok, ok....i hear you all say...shock horror...surprise surprise (please note the sarcasm
) but think of the potential and where we can go with this!!!
Alcohol is a huge part of our culture. Some people view it as 'cool' but do we really know what we're getting into!?
We have room for expansion! peer pressure, self image, depression, relationships, confidence, friendships...etc. etc. WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU WANT! - Actors/Actresses

We're taking Label to the Scottish Parliament!!
Yep, you heard right - Label is going to Edinburgh! We would love everyone who was involved with the project to come with us. Do you want to come?
The date for the trip is THURSDAY 12TH FEBRUARY. Times are to be confirmed but Label will be shown around lunchtime to all the people who attend.
If you are up for coming, please get in touch either by replying to this message, calling the office (01292 264020) or emailing me on tracy@ayrark.co.uk, giving me your full name so I can tick you off my magical list. Also, if you are at school or college, please could you include which school or college you're at, and your class so we can get in touch with them and try get permission for you to have the day off.
Please get back to me as soon as you can - if i dont hear from you by WEDNESDAY 21ST JANUARY, I'll have to assume you're not up for it.

The Premiere
Well. The premiere has been and gone and what a night! It was AMAZING!
The night kicked off with some food and drink, with our very own cast and crew serving guests with some lovely sparkling grape juice on arrival. Then it was time for the speeches. Firstly, Rona and Miriam took to the stage to tell us a little about Label and the filming. Then it was the moment everyone had been waiting for - the first official, premiere screening of Label! The final video was so veiled in mystery, most of the cast hadn't even seen the full complete film.
After the screening, Kirsten and Daniel stepped up to answer the "So what?" question, sharing the possible, and hoped for, future of Label and sharing The Ark's passion to run more film projects in the future.
The staff team had no input into the contant of the speeches - it was all straight from the mouths and the hearts of the young people involved. A great big thank you goes out to Rona, Miriam, Kirsten and Daniel - the speeches were truly amazing. We are all so very proud of you!
But the rest of the cast and crew weren't let off lightly as they were all invited to the stage to answer questions from the assembled guests. The feedback was very positive and the guests took some time to give all the young people some well deserved praise and encouragement.
After this, the back sale opened. These cakes, made by the fair hands of a few of the young people involved, raised around £60 for the next film project. The rest of the time was spent in general conversation and mingling between cast, crew and guests. As well as getting in some brilliant photographs!
The night was a complete success. It exceeded all our expectations (which were already really high!). We, at The Ark, can take no credit for this as it was all down to the young people. So thank you so, so much! It really was a pleasure to work with you guys and such a blessing and privilege.
We can't wait to work with you all again in the next film project!

Hey guys, won't be able to make today's meeting as my parents are both working and I have no way into the town today. Will definately be there for the rest of the week though. I have a few ideas brewing for the project and I would be interested in doing scriptwriting. Just thought you should know

i wont be able to make the first meeting as im away in skandinavia for just over a week. im back on the 24th. However i'm still interested and should be able to make all the other meetings.
