- <<Sollte es denn möglich sein! Dieser alte Heilige hat in seinem Walde noch Nichts davon gehört, dass Gott tot ist!>> Friedrich Nietzsche
"He talked alot about the past, and I gathered that he wanted to recover something, some idea of himself perhaps, that had gone into loving Daisy". The Great Gatsby
- Music
- Bands I listen to mostly: Smashing Pumpkins, QOTSA, Radiohead, John Frusciante Solo work, System of a Down, RHCP, NIN, Tool, The Whitest Boy Alive, My Baby Wants To Eat Your Pussy, Debussy, Carl Orff, Muse, We Are Scientists (so many others I can't think of without my mp3 player)
- Films
- Rather indifferent to this media...There Will Be Blood warmed my heart recently.
- Sports
- Cycling, running, football if anything, sledge-hammering sheds.
- Fear/Dislike Of
- Dying mid-flight on planes, or of course at any point of the journey. Spontaneously combusting. Low fat foods.
- Happiest When
- Socialising with people I like, playing music, listening to music, going to concerts, meeting new people, eating grossly unhealthy food, fornicating on grass (as if that's ever happened), being treated like shit, getting kicked in the spine, making inhumane noises, making humane noises.
- My Loikes
- Rain jackets (rain gear in general), bananas, guitars, friends, womens, last minutes, green leaves, 60 second showers, pebbles, hot chocolate, chicago town pizzas.
- Those I admire (past and present)
- Peter Schmeichel, Daron Malakian, John Frusciante, James Joyce, Renaud Contini (what a character).

Proof of the existence of God/stroke of good luck.
I recently bought Sennheiser noise-cancelling headphones. The rubber ear cushions which cancel external noise come in three different sizes. They came fitted with the medium size, but I decided to check how one would fare using the various stages of bigness. Dissatisfied with both alternatives I opted for the medium (or so I thought) again as they fit my ear hole better. So one day I met with a friend, got as far as Hourican's pub and discoveresd that I was missing one of the ear 'cushions'. I was perturbed, distraught, devastated, nonplussed and soon found that searching for it was futile as I must surely have lost it on my odyssey. The next day, still dejected, I resolved to choose another size from the remaining ear cushions. But to my surprise and delight it was soon revealed to me that what remained, among the smaller plugs, was a medium and a large. In layman's terms, I realised that I had accidentally been wearing a small and a large ear plug cushion and, as luck would have it, the one that got lost was the large cushion (the size that doesn't fit)! So now I have my medium sized ear plug cushions intact and accounted for, while the other large one is somewhere at the Trinity gates. So by some miracle or stroke of luck, it was an earplug size that doesn't fit me that got lost, rather than the one that does. The darndest thing!0 Comments 501 days

Tired, wrecked, knackered.
Listening to My Bloody Valentine while waiting for dinner after seisiún in the gym, this added to copious seconds and minutes of football Gestern means total muede. Strange penchant for listening to the Boomtown Rats with they're most notable hits such as I Don't Like Mondays and Rat Trap on Youtube, often resulting in the consternation of Patrickanten and John Francois. The only thing stopping me from going to find Mr. Adorno, knocking on his Frankfurt door and asking him "Warum haben sie solche Gedanke ausgeschrieben darueber die ganze Welt sich aergern wuerde?" is the fact that he's dead and if he were alive would probably point out some grammatical mistake which would result in my jumping into the Main. Where have all the flowers gone, that's what I ask? There are no flowers, there is only me. Imithe ar nós na gaotha.4 Comments 617 days

Top 16
It's probably just easier to state, to whom it may concern, that my "Top 16" friends are in no particular order. Rating one friend above another is sick and I hate favouritism in general.1 Comment 818 days
