I've got my own job, a great flat, just about to graduate uni and a fantastic boyfriend. Pity I'm broke as hell as the joys of student overdrafts needing paid off but hey things are looking up now all I need is a sewing machine to start making my clothes and I'm sorted ; )

Next year I' hoping to see Megadeth, MacBeth, SIOUXSIE!!!!! and maybe Nightwish no sure yet. If I could see Clan of Xymox though at WGW that would be amazing but thats not going to happen is it.

  • Alt bride attacked on her wedding day

    Dont you just love this country for being so acceptable. Just reading the news this morning when I came across this story (I know its a trashy 'paper' but this story pissed me off)

    " A goth bride spent her wedding night in hospital after she was thrown down concrete steps by thugs outside her Halloween reception.
    Lucy Emmingham, 21, was targeted by the men, who taunted her about her gothic image when they spotted her in a black wedding dress.

    She was pushed down a flight of concrete steps, punched and kicked unconscious as she and her new husband left their wedding reception in Sheffield.

    Mrs Emmingham suffered a black eye, extensive cuts and bruises and badly grazed arms, and spent seven hours in hospital with husband Edward by her bedside.
    The pair were married on Halloween at Sheffield Register Office where the bride wore a black dress with a diamante-encrusted spider's web-inspired wrap.
    Her eight bridesmaids were also in black , while husband Edward, 26, sported a Mohican hairstyle and black suit.

    After the wedding, the party walked a mile through Sheffield to the reception.
    Mrs Emmingham, a photography student, said: 'Our outfits caused a bit of a stir, lots of people were looking at us when we went into the reception and it was great.
    'I have always been a bit alternative when it comes to fashion. I always said when I got married it would be in black because I wanted a gothic-style wedding.
    Her mother, Andrea Moffat, said the trouble began as they left the reception and three men began to taunt the bride about her appearance.

    Mrs Emmingham became upset, but despite her new husband asking them to stop, the men continued to hurl abuse. A scuffle started, during which Mrs Emmingham was pushed down a flight of concrete steps.

    Mrs Moffat, from Woodseats, Sheffield, said: 'Most of the 200 guests had already left when Lucy and Edward decided to go on to a hotel where a suite had been specially booked for them.
    'As they were leaving three men came up and stood in their way, they then started saying really nasty things to Lucy.
    'Edward asked them to stop, then one of them pushed Lucy deliberately. She fell, hit her head and was completely out of it for about three minutes.'
    The attackers fled before police arrived.
    Mrs Emmingham was taken by ambulance to the city's Northern General Hospital along with friend Jamie Johnstone, 21, whose lip was torn after a piercing was ripped out by one of the attackers.

    Another guest, a 14-year-old girl, was punched in the back of the head.
    The bride spent seven hours in A&E before she was allowed home. After treatment she was given the all clear to travel and flew with her new husband to Turkey for their honeymoon.
    Mrs Moffat said: 'She has a massive black eye and bruises all over her body.
    'She has also completely skinned her forearms. Those men ruined what had been a wonderful day.
    'I know Lucy looks a little different, but to taunt and then attack her just because of that is disgusting.

    'Luckily she was fit enough to travel so they have flown to Turkey on honeymoon.
    'This has completely shaken them both up and I only hope they can enjoy the honeymoon. It's terrible what has happened but it could have been so much worse.

  • I'm selling a corset on ebay (22" Vollers v1925)

    I'm selling a corset I've only wore twice to fund a new deadlygirlz one. It is a Vollers half bust corset v1925 in royal blue colour. It doesn't come with a modesty panel or suspenders (but does have hooks for suspenders to be attached to) and currently retails for over £115 so at buy it now of £55 it will be a nice little bargin for someone.

    Since it is a 22" corset it is suited for girls of a natural waist of 24-26 or more if a more experienced wearer wants it. Any questions feel free to ask and pass the link to anyone you think may be interested.

    I want this baby gone and off to a girl who'll wear it out!! :)

  • Got a job!!! (New platforms ahoy!!)

    Yep I'm starting work at comet tomorrow!! Pity I didnt get a job until the end of the month and I have no money really to order materials and make my halloween costume for tuesday. Ah well it'll wait until next year.

    On the plus side I'm getting money through from stellar tomorrow so once the rent is paid and bills its platform time!! I've wanted these platforms for over a year and since they have knocked £100 off the price it's best to get them now I think.

    Before I go I just need to let you all know I'm using a restricted internet at the moment so I cant reply to comments on my page so sorry. I'm not being anti social its just I'm not paying £120 odd quid or whatever it is to get my phone line sorted.Stuff that.

    That money will go towards wool, synthetic hair, a sewing machine and fabrics!!

    So guess there is nothing left to say except I hope you all have a happy halloween :D

      Hi,
      Hows things? heard you cut your hair. I've just been working and got some cash finally ordered my torment 804 boots after almost a year of waiting! Applied for my postgrade should find out in the middle of sept whether i get an interview or not so fingers crossed (interviews are in stirling). Its more like a job than a masters get paid 22K for the year!. However stirling wasn't an option for the placement so i might be anywhere in scotland. U been up to much?
