NEWRY LIONS 10K/5K FINAL COUNTDOWN
With just a few days left to the annual Newry Lions Club 10K, 5K and Fun Run event in Warrenpoint on Tuesday 4th August at 7pm, the tension is building with this years’ run looking set to surpass the success of last year when over 300 competitors of all ages and abilities lined up for this great event.
Organisers have already stepped it up a gear this year with a revamped course, officially measured by a UKA Qualified Course Measurer as well as Champion Chip timing on site to give state of the art feedback to competitors on the night.
Entry forms are to be filled in by all participants and early registration is recommended as organisers are keen to ensure a prompt race start at 7pm. Entry for the 10K/5K events is £10 while the Fun Run aimed at young athletes costs £3. All entries for the 10K/ 5K received before the closing date of Saturday 1st August 2009 are guaranteed t
