- Experiencing meningitis or septicaemia can be an extremely traumatic experience whether it is you, a family member, colleague or friend that suffers.
Both meningitis and septicaemia can lead to death in a matter of hours or leave those who survive with devastating and life changing after effects including amputations, hearing loss or brain damage.
This group is for anyone who has had experience of these terrible diseases. Meningitis Research Foundation is in contact with over 12,000 individuals and families with personal experience and in this group we'll be keeping you up to date with the progress we are making fighting back and the support we can offer you.
