Hey all. Been a while since iv posted anything, so im guessing the whole weekly episodic thing has gone out the window...ill just post something when i think of some things worth talking about. Like yesterday for instance. Yesterday was the day when i went to Knockhill for my birthday present. It was a day on the rally track in a 2.0 litre rear wheel drive Ford Sierra Cosworth, and was bloody awesome. I got to the track and went to a room to get my safety briefing and told what was going to be happening for the duration of the experience. We were told we were going to get 2 practice sessions where we had our tutor helping us out through the track telling us what to do with how much brakes and how much acceleration and all that to use and what the corners are like, pretty much what you hear the co pilot doing in a real rally race, BUT we had to remember the notes that we were given for each of the 8 sections of the track and make our own pace notes for our assessment run which we were marked on the skills that we had picked up through the day and our overall control of the car. The whole thing was phenomenal. Here were my scores:- Steering: 7/10 Braking: 7/10 Throttle Control: 7/10 Gear Change: 7/10 Racing Lines 7/10 Consistency 8/10 Maintain Full Control 8/10 Drive To Instruction 8/10 Pace Notes 8/10 Progress 8/10 which gave me a total of 75/100 which i was well pleased with. The person with the top marks got a trophy and second got a medal and so did third First place got 78/100 second was 76.5/100 and third was 76/100 which kinda annoyed me a bit cos i missed out on a medal by like one mark which was kinda gay but hey i had an awesome time driving round the rally track, photos will be up of that soon and i got an in car dvd of it so folks will be able to see me in the car, lol.
I heard someone say this to me the other day in the pub and it made me think. Why is common sense called common sence because everyone has different common sense. I think that doing something one way is common sense but someone else thinks doing it another way is common sense. So why is it called common sense if it is not very common between us all? There is my thought for the week.

So, okay, its been an uber long week this week and some of you guys have prob noticed that i have had a 'mystery' illness, well you guys from Lanark will know iv had a mystery illness, no need for the ' ' marks this time, and i didnt tell you my illness for a reason, so it didnt become an absolute panic, which it is no doubt gonna become now. So on Sunday night at work i started to get a crazy ass cough out of absolutely no where and it was one of those "Muahahahaha you're gonna be ill in the morning coughs" and i knew it so i went to bed that night, as you do and woke up on the day of my dentist appointment (Monday, again as you do when you fall asleep on Sunday) feeling like shite, so went layed on the coch until my mum got in and told me to get back to bed which i was pleased bout cos i didnt have to go to the dentist, so the doc was phoned and i was told to go down there, but i was like "whoooooa there doc should i really be going down to you when on all of the doors it says 'STOP...think you have swine flu, dont come to the docs go home and we will come to you!'" or something to that measure, but yeah i was told to go down. So i mustered up all the strength that i actually had, cos i could pretty much do nothing on monday and got myself down to the docs, where i was told "You shouldnt be here, you should be at home and we should be there seeing you!" and i was like "welll duuuhhh, thats what i said to you on the dog and bone!" so she masked me up and took me to some other room which had a bit of paper on it which said "Swine Flu Room" or something like that and i had swabs done, one in my throat and the other she put straight through my nose, not up it straight through like at 90 degrees with my head, it was really weird. Man some kid is crying in my house and i feel like going trhough and slapping him...i just went in and asked whos dog had died, lol. Back to the story, so i was tested for swine flu, told to go home and go to bed and someone else had to go and pick up my Tamiflu so my mum done it, she got back and i got told that i had to stay in my room for 5 days and if people came in they had to wear masks and gloves and shit around me so it wasnt very nice to be honest. So these last few days have literally been hell for me iv watched every dvd i own, got bored of every xbox game and wii game i own and then it hit me, i had 2 days to go and i hadnt even started watching my friends box set, so i started from season 1 episode 1 and i am now exactly half way through season 3, and yes it has confirmed everything that folk say...I really am Joey to a T.
One thing iv thought about this week which is kinda funny, as iv said iv been stuck in my room for 5 days being miserable about being in my room so now that i am out what am i gonna do, walk about my house and entertain the kids with puppets and stuff...no im gonna end up staying in my flaming room voluntaraly, lol, typical me.

Oh yeah, my blogspot will be open later today, it will be much the same as this, infact this will be in it but there might me extra stuff in my blogspot one, and yeah, its now called Blogger, i dont see the reason to change it do you? Muchos Thankos Kat and Kayla for the website info

Hmmmm, this is coming to be a weekly episodic thing, wonder how long im gonna go before i get bored of doing it, but i do kinda like it cos now i know that folk actually read this shit that goes through my head, whether any of it makes sense or not, and muchos to you all for reading it. So yes story of the week, and unless you didnt know sorry to upset you guys but yes Michael Jackson is dead...i did post something when i was rat arsed on Thursday, but that was in the shock of the moment, it is now almost a week on since MJ copped it and I still cant watch the news and get a decent story about anything, all i ever hear is Michael effing Jackson has died and people are now claiming he took shit...well duuuh he took bloody drugs, anyone who was in his shape and condition and had to get to performing level for 50 gigs in a row would have to perform miracles to do that, so he took the same performance enhancing drugs that some wrestlers take when thay are coming back from injury so they bulk up quicker and well, it has killed some like Eddie Guererro, Chris Benoit, Test to name a few, the same shit killed Heath Ledger. Im pretty fed up of hearing about him as you have prob guessed by now, feel sorry for his family and all that but i feel sorry for us general people more for not being able to pick up the paper and read it without his name plastered all over it, same with news channels...oh yeah, and the flaming radio plays him all the frigging time, and on the music channels and all the other crap you get with Sky its all Michael Jackson tributes.
So yes Newcastle...off the subject here for 2 secs, i just noticed im doing something thats gonna annoy Ann-Marie, check the start of my paragraphs, lol...Newcastle was amazing, it is probably the most friendly city/town whatever it is i have been in, in my life. The Geordies are top notch folk and they do their best to help anyone out at any time. The hotel room was pretty good, i dont know whay ally and marc took single beds and left me the double to myself though, i thought it rather strange. The only thing that really got on my nerves all weekend was the fact that no one got searched going into clubs or anything, you paid your money and just walked in, i didnt even show my id all weekend. So as a result of not getting searched i was offered pills in the first club where i told the guy to "fuck off" and on the second night i went to the toilet to be asked by a group of lads "you got any sniff mate" to this i again replied "fuck off" went for a piss as soon as i turned round one booted the door in n i turned to him and said "do it again and ill make sure you are never ever able to snort coke again" n he then pissed off. Good weekend though and would recommend it to anyone.
Much to my dissapointment, i have picked up a minor injury, i have pulled my right biceps while in Newcastle playing a daft game with a ball with ally and marc, was like playing catch but we were just trying to keep a rally with hitting it to one another...it kinda hurts when your arm moves before your muscle.
Anyhoo, i think im all out of ideas for this week. Any ideas for next week? Keep the comments rolling
