currently after my A-levels i want to apply straight for a commison with the RAF Regiment but my parents are pressuring me to go to univeristy which i dont want to do. however what degrees can i get with the RAF Regiment that will help me with my A-levels and GCSE grades when i leave the Air Force. currently im in application for my sixth form scholorship will this help me if i was accpeted when applying for my comission
i was gonna wait till march 010 matey but they had another person with my name goin for gunner and i was ahead of him in selection i was gettin his messages he was gettin mine so hes goin in 2010 ive got 9 days flat out training then off to barnham cant wait
i have to wait months for a date for my PGAC because they have stoped recruiting !!!

Im waiting on my PGAC but not sure on what date im gona get yet, im flat out training anyway....!

im looking at waiting 6 months for PGAC my date came through as march01/2010 im a bit let down cos i thought i was on the september course but it just means more time to train and get fitter for this i can wait when it comes ill be ready LET ME KNOW IF your on it with me

ok ive just turned 15 and wanted to be in raf regiment for years but now my family are pressuring me to stay on to 6th year (my plans are to leave after 5th)and go on to college and uni and my parents and i constantley argue about it , They are also convinced im going to be shot or blown up ect .I can why there concerned but its starting to get really annoying any advice

this is in reply to Molly's post, i would say dont let anyone put u off from what u want to do, life in the raf is great and u cant beat it and u are part of a family and well looked after, as regards to being a pilot ur better speaking to ur local afco(armed forces careers office) or going to the raf site and contacting them.
