Dancing upon a chair
in the wilderness of eve,
Dreary eyes bespoke the way

My dancing chair has broken its' leg
to crawl for sweet muffins
in the morning of uneaten herbs,
Smoke billows from yesterday's sweat
to show the training of the muscles,
Soggy undergrounds squelch in awe
as the urban fox steals the limelight,
His golden fur strikes annals
of future poetry inside the mind,
My dancing chair turns with the melodies
of the rocking dance-floor squatters,
Shelving mysteries of unwoken measures
to pierce the jelly of uncut bread...

A River
Where in the river am I?
Youthful exuberance blankets me,
Do I epitomize downright foolishness?
Am I an embarrassment?
Ashamed? – I am not,
Do others feel tense
While in my presence?
Am I the gushing water
Roaring gleefully down the slopes?
Do I stop to watch the view?
Do I really want to stop?
When motionless I become uneasy
A waterfall defines me,
Forever on the go,
Relaxation disgusts me,
For when I ease up I become scared.
I'm afraid of my future,
My best days I believe I am living
The old stage of a river doesn't excite,
I feel restricted by both banks,
Seeking the ocean to freedom,
To free my mind and spirit.
I want a seagull to show me the way,
On sight of the horizon I will rejoice,
For when a country is at war,
It's only its' rivers that run free.

Sitting ...
Just sitting in wait,
No feelings of impatience,
No mouth to give out,
Waiting for the first customer,
Simple chat glides in the air,
Many stories listened to,
But unable to regurgitate,
Just like that spider in his web
as he sits in the corner of the room,
A table of knowledge,
Experienced of many nationalities and faces,
A carpenters dream,
Sitting proud,
Lying in wait,
For the rows to build up
Or the romance to blossom,
So much could be said,
But no one wants to listen
