- I (Penny) grew up in the big town of Fletcher, OK, and my home church is still the Assembly of God Church there in Fletcher. Not that I get to visit there much... but sure do miss everyone there. I had the priviledge of attending Ozark Bible Institute in Neosho, MO for 4 1/2 years. After that I worked a few years in Christian schools and then started missionary training in 1990.
For many years I worked as single missionary in Mexico. On June 2, 2001, another chapter in my life began as a "married" missionary. The past five years sure has flown by quickly... I have been happily married to my charming prince who is "tall...UMMM I mean short, dark, and handsome."
Luis is from Mexico and is a carpenter by trade as well as a minister. He loves making furniture... I'm still waiting on MINE!!! Married life and the ministry kind of slows other things down (whew!) We are pastoring Templo Casa de Dios here in Monterrey, Mexico. Come by and see us when you can.

Special Prayer Request
Bro Jack Skinner's wife passed away this week. Her visitation is Thursday and funeral on Friday at Bible Holiness, Neosho, MO.
Also, Sis Margie McKelvey (spelling?) was killed in a car accident on Thursday Oct 1. She is Ryan, Brayan, and Jason McKelvey's mother from Dayton, Ohio.

We are preparing for a youth group that is coming in one month from Savannah, GA...pastor Bro Ryan Raulston. The group will be spear-headed by David and LaDonna Trawick... at least they think they will be in charge... but I'm sure that it is Tabitha and Lydia who will be running things.
The group will be having a Vacation Bible School for the neighborhood kids during the day, and then ministering in the evenings to our church, and another village or two. Please be with us in prayer that the Lord will really move in the work here in Monterrey. We so need a revival and are believing God for souls.3 commenti 901 giorni
