- I started playing the cello when i was three believe it or not, theres a funny picture of me with a miniature cello floating around somewhere.My family are all really musical and my sister Kate is going to play on some of our songs hopefully if we can ever afford to pay her. She plays violin for the L.S.O and a few other orchestras and projects.
Myself I am grade 8 on cello, and piano and i sing when i can. I met alex at university in liverpool and we started writing songs then he introduced me to other musicians and we all started trying to play together, i graduated last year 2007 at the top of my year and got the chance of a one on one session with sir paul mc cartney for half an hour playing him our songs.
Going to L.i.p.a really helped me a lot and i love liverpool, miss being up there but the amount of gigs we have been doing has opened my eyes to the whole world.
I love being in the middle of a ridiculously messy party lol

- the beatles, Classical music, orchestras, strings, motown and soul, indie and rock and roll, and electro from the north pole. I like hiphop and carnival bands, punk and thrashy guitars, english bands and singers, arrr so many and i dont want to sound pretentious so ill stop right there. See if you can guess what bands and artists i like
- Films
- love the cinema and we always watch loads of films on the tour bus, im a ninja through and through lol.
- Sports
- love football, and watch a lot of sport when i can, dont get much time to play yet, we should start a five a side football team
- Scared Of
- breaking my cello, ouch, i could never afford another one
- Happiest When
- in the studio and making new music, sleeping, with my friends and family,
i look pretty serious, i cant help it but it doesnt mean im not smiling inside

First blog :)
hey everyone, this is my first blog so im popping the cherry with a simple one,
i sing and play cello and keys with my friends in a band called The Riff Raff, were still really young so this is kind of one of our first adventures, the festivals were amazing last year and all the radio1 stuff we did was a massive opportunity.
i am massively greatful to everyone who supports us, we are very much the underogs but...
WE ARE GOING AROUND THE WORLD !!!
haha that is a surreal feeling, still so much to sort out, plan, passports to find, arrrrrrrrr will we wont we, one a them ones
cant wait, tis going to be a good year x
