No, you don't have to read. If you do, comment, criticize, help out with ideas?

Idea no.1~

So, the latest idea has been stuck in my head for ... well, ages, really.
How does this sound? It's a story surrounding Shamans, pollution, it connects the past and present, and the afterlife with the living life.
You want an example?
Look up the 'Shaman King' manga. No, I'm not ripping it off. xD
Want to help inspire characters? All you gotta do is give a name, where they're from, and what sort of spirit partner(s) that character should have.
It will be a worldwide event, as there will be a tournament that will decide the most powerful Shaman on earth. Death will be pretty prominent for the duration. It will include contestants from every country, so I'll need to do a lot of culture research. As for language barriers ... I'm going to be lazy, and say that everyone will speak English.
Main character will be from Newyork. Named Tayler Scott.
He'll be a physical fighter. He battles with three wolves, cause let's face it, three wolf spirits seem awesome, no?
Best friend is called Jerret~
He's Irish. 8D
He'll be an interesting case. His abilities will be quite weak for about the first half of the story. Then his spirit will evolve to level 2, so he can read minds, predict the next move and counter it with an attack.


Idea no.2

This was an old idea of mine, running along for about a year without doing anything for it.
For me, it's odd.
It is odd, because it is science fiction. I'm not a big science fiction fan, really. But, at the same time, it's easy to right for.
So far, I have the stem for a plot done. Lasts seven Microsoft pages, bullet point form.
I also have the main characters' basic outlines, and I have a prototype first chapter done (although it's really rough ._. )

Name: Kentaro (Kenny) Hanone.
D.O.B: 30th December.
Height: 179.28 cm. (5'11")
Weight: 73 kg.
Gender: Male.
Species: Shinigami.
Affiliation: Soul Society.
Team: Onmitsukidō (2nd division).

Kentaro, who prefers to go by the name 'Kenny' is reasonably tall, is depicted to resemble seventeen years of age as a human, with surprising royal blue eyes and shaggy dark-brown hair. His surname translates directly as 'Fang' and, as such, his personality and style rivals that. His soul was brought to Rukongai, where he lived only for months before being recruited into the shinigami academy. It was here that his journey begins; he spent an unusually short amount of time pacing the corridor walls before being drawn into Yoroichi's covert ops, thanks to how quickly and completely he mastered the art of flash steps.

However, soon after, Kentaro was captured by an unknown source and went unseen for twenty years. In fact, he was captured by Aizen, and was experimented on with hollow based energy. When Aizen believed Kenny had died, he lay the body outside the 2nd division quarters, where he was found not by Yoroichi, but by the new captain, Soifon. However, he was breathing, with the quarter mask covering his right eye. This was not fully recognised, and he was brought to the 4th squad barracks, where he underwent extensive healing through the art of Unohana's shikai.

After several months of interrogation, Kentaro was released and drafted directly into the 2nd squad, despite belief that Captain Kenpachi had wished for the teen to join his squad. Like this he remained, and while he was not awarded a seat, he frequently trained with Soifon, usually fairing well for the first while until the battle came to endurance. For the next half-century, Kentaro's Vaizard abilities were not drawn out, until Aizen saw fit to try to dispose of him once again. This led to the full mask being released in his shikai form, meaning the speed and power boost was almost of bankai level, as well as basic kido spells becoming greatly amplified. 'Pale Lightning' alone caused unprecedented damage, and although he fought expertly, Kentaro was defeated and almost killed. Seen as too much of a threat to Seireitei, he was granted the execution bill. However, at the last moment, he was saved by a strange man with one of those strange masks, a fellow Vaizard, and escaped to 'the real world', where they found help from Kisuke Urahara.

Since then, Kentaro has lived in secrecy, based in Kurahara town with his fellow Vaizard, and has trained to unlock his bankai.

Through the art of Kido, Kentaro follows three central spells;

Shitotsu Sansen
嘴突三閃
Beak-Piercing Triple Beam

Forming a golden triangle with one's finger, it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of a perfect triangle.

Byakurai
白雷
Pale Lightning

The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger. Rukia Kuchiki and Byakuya Kuchiki both used this spell and rarely other Shinigami as well.

Sōkatsui
蒼火墜
Blue Fire, Crash Down

Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to #31, but over a wider area and with more power. Another version of this spell has been seen in "Bleach : Heat the Soul 5", used by Byakuya, that sends a kind of pink colored attack to the opponent, that looks really like his Zanpakutō; however, we hear Byakuya Kuchiki saying "Sōkatsui".
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws."

Shikai: Katsu ken danpen, Unari tame sono shiro hisakata, Kiba!
Rip and shred, howl to the white moon, Wolf.

Unusually, Kenny's zan

Quilava.

Movepool: Flamethrower. Quick Attack. Crush Claw. Overheat. Rest. Flamewheel. Swift. Eruption.

Quilava started out as a simple little Cyndaquil which held serious problems when coming to aiming attacks. As a Cyndaquil, the occasionally skittish fire rodent was also Tom's first partner, and has since never left his Pokémon team. Acquired at the tender age of ten, just as Cyndaquil was newly hatched, Tom set out from Blackthorn City to prove himself to the world. Cyndaquil evolved into Quilava, nicknamed Quil' or Quilly', in preparation to face the fifth gym of Johto, Cianwood. Upon evolution, natural power was granted, along with heightened fire power and the 'Crush Claw' attack, which was the final attack made against Chuck's powerful Poliwrath. Since Johto, despite traveling and completing Kanto and Hoenn, Quilava has not yet evolved. This caused some confusion, and while at an exceptionally high level and with high maintenance training, the sleek Pokémon has refused to change. Tom has taken that in and accepted it, but harbours to the hope that his partner will reach the final stage of Typhlosion somewhere within Sinnoh.

Shuckle.

Movepool: Wrap. Bide. Double Team. Return. Toxic. Stone Edge.

Shuckle was an unusual capture. While in Sinnoh, after experiencing some difficulty with his friend Saturn, Tom went for a long walk around Veilstone's back alleyways, and walked past a trash can outside of the Casino. It shook, causing the youth both alarm, suspicion, and a jolt of adrenaline to relight his numbed features. Within the metal container he found a Shuckle, weak, abandoned and abused, yet with a unique shell. It was the first shiny Pokémon he had ever encountered, its shell being blue and its hide a tougher orange. Shuckle's signature ability, transforming Berrys into Berry Juice, and from there into Rare Candy, along with its absolute defense, has made the friendly Pokémon a welcome team addition. Admittedly, Shuckle also helped remind the teen of his home region, of which he was particularly homesick to.

Kadabra.

Movepool: Psychic. Shockwave. Kinesis. Confusion. Psycho cut. Teleport. Fire Punch.

Tom felt that Kadabra would make a welcome addition to his team, mainly based around its intimidating looks. Being a member of Galactic, and conveniantly working alongside Saturn, he acquired a personal platoon of eight new recruits, and they were ... less than trusting, or trustworthy. In order to help win loyalty that was a key mixture of both friendship and intimidation, Tom used his psychic type friend in day to day activity, occasionally using it for sheer displays of power. Since Kadabra's arrival, Tom has made unconventional use of its power, using it to hold Saturn's Milotic captive, to scramble security cameras' circuitry and to spook people out with mysterious levitating objects. Of all his Pokémon, Kadabra is one who's abbreviation is least used. As a telepathic being, Tom and his Pokémon have been working on setting up a mental link born from friendship and hardwork.

Leafeon.

Movepool: Leaf blade. X-scissor. Energy Ball. Synthesis. Sunny Day. Solar Beam.

This Eevelution comes with one seriously bad attitude. Unfortunately nasty and thoroughly high class, traits acquired through evolution, Leafeon is a fan of his brute power and takes any opportunity to show it off. As it photosynthesises, it is always cloaked in pure air to which Tom assumed would be beneficial to his own occasionally poor health and his Pokémons'. However, having his little grass type out in the open is more of a danger, as it has little respect and disobeys the majority of Tom's orders unless under immense pressure of battle. As a wild Pokémon, it has the ability to fight alone, though such style is naturally inferior unless under the guidance of a human trainer. Every now and again the youth considers trading the Po
