First of all my name is johnny Mc,

& This is baby site for the N-A-R-A in other words National Animal Rights Assoc' but this is a Page is For the Limerick Region And Its called N-A-R-A-L a simple name that i came up with myself i am limericks Regional Manager For this Group Were Againts Any Kind Of Blood Sports And Hunting Animals For their Fur And Animal Testing Of anykind We will support anyone that has info about crulety and will hold demonstrations where we see fit if you love animals like my self and thousands of other people please make a stand and stop this our government knows about all these testing facalities and are doing noting about it which is a disgrace so its up to the people to stand together and say NO Like We did for the Lisbon treaty

If you hear of any person or people that are hurting animals in any way please contact me by comment or by mail please we have to try and stop animal crulety in Ireland Its a total DISGRACE that Our Government turns a blind eye to it and are hyprocrity when people are found guilty of Animal Crulety and get a slap on the rist makes me sick

    • CIRCUS DEMO Sat. 20th Sept. (after Fur Demos)

      Hi everyone,

      In light of what happened to our comrade, Daniel, this evening outside the Great European Circus in Navan, I am organising a protest outside the circus on Saturday - after we have finished the fur demos in Dublin.

      We'll be finished the anti-fur protests by 3.30pm, and I am suggesting we take an hours break to have dinner, and then head for Busaras.

      I'll be aiming for us to get the 107 or 109 bus at 5pm, which will have us in Navan by 6pm - where we intend to stay for an hour at the very least.

      The Great European Circus is beside a shopping centre on the Trim Road in Navan, Co. Meath.

      It is extremely important that as many people as possible attend this protest - for the animals, and Daniel, we need to show these people that nothing that they could ever do, could ever deter us from fighting for the rights and freedom of animals. WE WILL NEVER BACK DOWN!

      Note that I will be notifying the police, to assure our safety.

      We may end up taking an earlier/later bus to Navan, so call/text me if you're not sure where we are:

    • N.A.R.A. Mission Statement

      Formed on 1st July 2007, the National Animal Rights Association aims to eliminate all forms of cruelty, abuse, oppression and rights violations against animals in Ireland.

      We don’t believe in animal welfare (e.g. bigger cages), we strictly believe in animal rights (e.g. empty cages). You can never make murder or abuse ‘humane’.

      We believe that animals already have rights, but that they are just not yet recognised.

      We all follow a strict vegan diet. We feel that one cannot campaign for animal rights while consuming any animal products. Apart from the murder and extreme suffering involved, nothing that comes from an animal is ours to take. To do so would be a rights violation in itself.

      Animals are not ours to wear. As well as it being totally unnecessary, humans have no right whatsoever to wear fur, leather, wool or silk. All of these ‘materials’ were once part of a living creature, who did not volunteer themselves to become another fashion item.

      No forms of animal testing are acceptable - whether it be for cosmetics or medical research. Testing on animals does nothing to further medical progress for humans - and even if it did, it wouldn’t make it morally right or acceptable to use animals in this way.

      Animals are not ours to use for entertainment or profit. Animal circuses, greyhound racing, horse racing, zoos and aquariums are all animal-abusing industries that take advantage of animals’ vulnerability - merely to satisfy a perverse need to see, and make money out of, another species being degraded and exploited.

      We also recognise rights for insects. They too are living beings who deserve a life free of exploitation and suffering.

      We are a non-hierarchal group, and welcome anyone willing to help in our fight for animal rights. However, we believe in rights for both non-human and human animals, and so we will not tolerate or accept any racist, sexist or homophobic people.
