- The Pony Girls are a pioneering force in Irish Alternative Cabaret, mixing traditional ideas of 1930s burlesque with avant guard and daring concepts of neo-burlesque. Inspired by the London and New York cabaret scene and concentrating on the humourous side of vaudeville, they paved the way using audience participation as an integral part of their show.
Gringo and the Pony Girls have been bringing their stunning brand of alternative cabaret and vaudeville mayhem to select venues in Ireland and the UK for over five years. Due to popular demand, their initial appearances in The Alternative Miss Ireland show in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and with The Shamcocks, Ireland’s First Drag Kings, soon evolved with The Pony Girls developing and producing their own shows, incorporating cheeky burlesque, their own unique brand of hilarity, song, dance, grotesque comedy and ridiculous drag kings.

Roll up, roll up! On Saturday 14th November The Pony Girls will be bringing the glitz of the carnival to The Twisted Pepper with their brand of alternative cabaret, 'Sideshow'.
Showcasing some of the hottest Irish and international alternative cabaret and
striptease artists, plus variety acts, novelty numbers and comedians, this spectacular show will be hosted by the capital's favourite Stable Mistress Sharyn Hayden, accompanied by Dublin's cheekiest cabaret troupe, The Pony Girls. Just back from her Bizzare Ball Debut in the Steampunk Room, the lovely Scarlett Pony will be feasting our ears with a mix of Rock, Alternative, Electro, Industrial and a bit of Pop for good measure. Special guest all the way from London is Chrisalys, with his amazing stunt capers. For audience members brave enough to participate, there are fabulous spot prizes, and of course the third international 'Ass Off' title must be won! Expect the unexpected!

Roll up, roll up! On Saturday 28th February The Pony Girls will be
bringing the glitz of the carnival to the Sugar Club with their brand
new burlesque revue, 'Sideshow'.
Showcasing some of the hottest Irish and international burlesque and
striptease artists, plus variety acts, novelty numbers and comedians,
this spectacular show will be hosted by the capital's favourite Drag
King Gringo O'Hara, accompanied by Dublin's cheekiest burlesque
troupe, The Pony Girls. Special guest is Chrisalys (UK), with his
amazing stunt capers. For audience members brave enough to
participate, there are fabulous spot prizes, and of course the second
international 'Ass Off' title must be won!
Streetboobs, a Clairvoyant, Medium (Large in Penneys) and Mentalist
will be wowing audiences with her amazingly accurate mind reading.
Prepare to be mildly horrified as she makes even the most private
thoughts terrifyingly public. All the way from Australia, sizzling
siren Sade O'Sapphic promises to dazzle the audience with her blend of
classic striptease artistry and edgy neo-burlesque. Performing his
jaw-dropping act will be Chrisalys, the transvestite purveyor of pain
who pushes himself to the shocking limits of human endurance. Never
before has torment looked so glamorous! Expect screwdrivers, animal
traps and broken glass! Nothing is a trick; this is amazing
traditional sideshow at its best, served with a contemporary twist.
Also starring Lady FAFA, Fluffy Dutton, Cheryl Summers, Miss Bella A
GoGo and the Black Orchid tribal bellydancers.

At Asu Nail, Beauty & Holistic Swords are running an acrylic/gel nail tech course starting very soon. Learn from the best. Suzanne Alcock will be class educator who holds many awards in the nail & beauty industry the most prestigious being 'IRISH NATIONAL NAIL TECH 2007-2008'. Suzanne has been educating for 6 years, teaching hundreds of students around Ireland. Suzanne has travelled all around Europe to educate herself and is a Senior educator for NSI & Ezflow.
