My Little Sister Died Of Meningitis At 10 Months Old She Was Beautifull And I Will Never Forget Her She Died In December 2007 And We Have Done Soi Much To Raise Money For Menigitis We Have Done Stuff Up In The Car Park At Sainsburys and I Dressed Up As Monty We Have Done BBQs And my dad was ment to be doing the loden marrithorn for iot this year but my step mum was in hospital so he didnt but he will do it next yaer instead XX

I had Meningitis when I was 3 yrs old and lived to tell the tale, I'm 18 in May.

I am part of the senior C.A.T.CH (Cults Academy Team for Charities) team at school, we collect money all through the year and choose 3 charities to split the money between. This year I put Meningitis research foundation forward to be chosen as one of our 3 charities, and at the annual meeting where all C.A.T.CH representatives from every year group meet, Meningitis Research Foundation was chosen!

Thank you to the foundation for all your hard work and if it wasn't for your work, helping people recognise the symptoms of the disease I wouldn't be here today

I am wondering whats the stats for an adult to die of menigococcal diesese, everything i read on net is more info on babies and teenagers, because they are more at risk but my dad was 55 when he died suddenly in december. just wondering if anyone knows where i can get info from?

My wonderful godfather n uncle frank cassidy died so tragically and suddenly on the 10th december 2008, he has left us with great memories of him but at the same time such greif especially his much loved wife roseanne his gorgous daughter louise and his lovely son martin and not forgetting his amazing grandson aiden whom he adored and his mum and dad and 3 brothers and all his neices n nephews we all wonder why but god always takes the good ones and it was his time. We all love and miss you and will never forget you i am now looking to do a sponsored walk for my uncle frank to raise awareness and to support others who have lost someone to meningitis. God bless uncle frank and all the love in the world.

i think that its great what you do, because i had meningitis when i was six years old, but not that many people seem to know too much about it. i think a great idea would be to like go around schools giving assemblies and just raise awarness of the disease and therefore raise the awareness of dunraising events. i think this would help greatly.
my mum has done a recipe book a few years ago to raise money for it, and my mum and dad on their silver wedding anniversary didnt want presents but asked for donations instead, i think more people should know about it

My 3 month old baby had meningitis in July thankfully she has come out of it really well the only thing is she has lost her hearing in her left ear but if thats it we count ourselves very very lucky!!
