- Los Angeles-based dream pop outfit Snow & Voices grew out of collaborations between singer/songwriter Lauri Kranz and songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist Jebin Bruni. Their music can be described as a melting pot of diverse acoustic and electric styles, from folk balladry to haunting, borderline industrial pieces, all built around the breezy and sensuous vocals of Lauri Kranz.
The group’s self-titled debut was released in 2005 on Bird Song Recordings. Snow & Voices' sophomore effort, What the Body Was Made For, arrived on their own label, Elastic Ruby, in July 2008.
Snow & Voices fits nicely alongside the likes of Cat Power, Portishead, Fiona Apple, Aimee Mann and Beth Orton.
