What's up everyone,

Saying it has been a 'crazy couple of months!' for this band is a total f***ing understatement. We went from spending the first year as a band holding ourselves up in our house in PA writing and recording this album, to jumping in a van and roaming from city to city, country to country getting to meet tons of new people and do what we love. It is definitely not always pretty, but it's an amazing ride.

Anyone who knows us knows that we're a band of as few words as possible. If it's all the same we'll keep it to songs and videos. Get to the point and cut the bulls**t. But, standing on the edge of album release, we really feel inclined to reach out to everyone, and thank them for all their support. At a time where gas prices are making touring a total dirty bitch for new artists, you guys have really helped us get by.


We're well aware of how easy it is to cop our album on torrents. F**k we STARTED this band with software from P2P's (but we've gone legit… I swear) Honestly trying to stop it, or raising a big fuss when something 'leaks' is a complete waste of energy. If you LOOOOOVE IPS and you've already downloaded the record, we really hope you like it. But please, if you like what we're doing, if you want to see bigger live shows with more production, bigger music videos, more tours, WE WANT TO MAKE ALL OF THAT FOR YOU. Please, please please, don't make me f***ing beg, please, make an effort to go out to your local record store and pick up our album. At the very least throw us a friggin bone and pick it up on Itunes. It's a little faster of a download, and you'll feel like way less of a ball of douche. We're a crew of real dudes, that live out of backpacks, who happen to have a painfully expensive addiction to modular synthesis and lasers. We're just trying to support our habit. All we can do as a band is promise you that if you support us, we'll return the favor. Every time you pick up an Innerpartysystem album, T-Shirt, or concert ticket, every ounce we can put back into new records, bigger live show, and bigger videos we will. Sure, there will be a small allotment for hookers and blow…but after that, all business. AND, if we sell 5 Million records first week, LA Reid personally told us he'd buy us rocket packs. Jet rocket packs. No joke.

We've been hard at work over our long van hauls pumping out a string of new remixes. We're already working up our next video, which we're really hoping will be a much bigger production, and we're looking into transforming our show into a full on multimedia experience. One day at a time. It's gonna be a great year.


We're fucking amped to see everyone on tour. UK tourdates and tickets for the 3oh!3 tour are selling out really fast, so if you are dicking around on the fence, get your ticket or you may be left sitting at home, bumming.


AND we come bearing gifts:
A few months ago we were lucky enough to cross paths with a company called Mediatronica, who's founder, Greg Decampo was in a creative video collective in the mid 90's called EBN (if you don't know, google is your friend). EBN used real newsreels/ entertainment media to create art, and while we were way to young to see their live show first hand, the you tube videos are fucking siiiick. EBN's videos were a huge influence in the glitch aesthetic of Don't Stop, which, if you don't know, we shot in our Basement and local cable access station (big ups BCTV). Now Greg's working with a video DJ collective called Eclectic Method, who spin video on turntables and effect it in real time. Eclectic Method came up with this sick video remix of Don't Stop which you can check out right here.


Plus, they took it one step further, and came up with a widget so you can remix the video yourselves. If you embed the widget in your facebook, myspace, livejournal, whateverwhateverwhatever, it will update itself regularly with new content/ nuggets over the next couple of mo
