Clean slate
Ok, so 2009 is now upon us, and although I don't like new year resolutions (because people never stick to them) I figure that it's an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and try to achieve what I didn't last year.
So back to the gym - get back on track to bulking up some muscle instead of fat, back to saving every penny that I can and back to trying to get a house.0 comentarios 325 días

Switchfoot Gig - 8th Feb
I went to see Switchfoot in concert on Thursday 8th Feb. Possibly the best gig I've been to - and that's not an exageration. Ok, so Perth is a bit of a strange place to have a concert when there's Glasgow and Edinburgh. But Switchfoot pride themselves on going to places where it's cheaper for their fans. There wasn't a huge amount of people - maybe only 300-400, and mostly teenagers at that but it didn't detract from the quality of the music. The accoustics were amazing and the band sounded as good as they do on the CD's. The first song got everyone riled up, and by the time the 2nd song came on the crowd was so ready for it that the lead singer passed the mic to an audience member to introduce it. About half way through the gig they sang a song that he'd written especially for the night about Perth - which kinda went to show the extent of their passion for music. Jon (the lead singer) went crowd surfing 3 times (although the bouncer wasn't too happy about it) and then after a while he got off the stage and went for a wonder amongst the crowd. The last song (pre encore) was "Meant To Live", which sounds amazing live. The personal rendition of it on the stage is great and then at the last lines Jon got the audience to sing it again and again, he turned the mic to us and one by one, the band walked off with us still singing - ingenious imo. An accoustic/electric version of 24 came on next and then the last song was Dare You To Move. If I could persuade any of you to go see Switchfoot live, then please do if you get the chance...0 comentarios 1020 días

![]() | I'm The Careful Plodder (Your score is 27) Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature. |

Carla: Well?
Dr. Cox: I'm sorry, would you please repeat the question?
Carla: Are you just gonna roll over like that?
Jordan: That's weird, I asked him the same thing last night.
Carla: Where's the outrage? The anger? The hate?
Jordan: Again, last night!
Carla: You've gone soft.
Jordan: *gasp* Okay, now it's getting spooky.
