Yes, Blood Angel is very dark. It was difficult for me to suffer along with Angela throughout that story, but hey, at least she makes it back to Tommy--even if he is pretty bad off.
I'm writing the sequel but it's in the POV of Charon, the vamp who "made" Karada. It's a strange tale so far. Hope I can finsih it. I keep thinking it's too odd.
