- "Slipknot", The American Metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Originally the band was named "The Pale Ones" then changed to the name "Meld" for their first performance in 1995 with their first Vocalist "Anders Colsefini".Soon after, "Joey Jordison", their drummer suggested renaming the band to the name we know today, "Slipknot". The band self released their debut album "Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat" on Halloween of 1996. Meanwhile, while Slipknot were doing their early gigs they spotted the vocalist "Corey Taylor" whilst he was in "Stone Sour" and their new material demanded more vocal melody so they recruted him which made "Anders Colsefini" backing singer."Anders" later announced his departure. Since then "Slipknot" have made 3 albums:
Slipknot (June 29,1999),
Iowa (August 28, 2001),
Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses (May 24, 2004).

But all the more reason for people to reply to it coz you should have your views on the album having it been out for a while bow.
What does everyone think about it?
I liked it.
Yeah they sounded like Stone Sour on a few of their tracks and only a few were heavy . . . . . . ish.
I liked all the album even the soft ones such as Snuff but overall the band deserve a round of applause for making a huge come back and delivering their stuff.
Anyone going to see them tour with Children Of Bodom and Machine Head?
