So it seems all the tickets for Oasis's stadium tour next year have sold out within hours. Oasis, Kasabian, the enemy, all on the same bill. No wonder.

Since i heard this announcement i wanted to make sure i was there. I really wanted tickets to the Murrayfield leg. I was ready at 10 o clock this morning for the tickets to go on sale. Work could wait, i was going to get two tickets, just two tickets for little old me. It was clear from 1 second past 10 o clock this would be unlikely.

I think every website selling the tickets must have gone down due to the volume of people trying to get these tickets. Goldust 'some might say'. I was gutted, but nevertheless kept pressing the refresh button every minutes. It must have been about half 11 when i finally got onto the page asking me how many tickets i wanted, a maximum of 6. Magic i thought, so i ordered 2, all i could afford really and proceeded to enter my card details. This was a long process in itself, so when i pressed confirm i was glad that was that. But it wasn't.

Supposedly something was wrong with the card details i entered. Gutted, i started typing out again, 2 tickets, all my card details yet again. Proceed. Same problem, must have been because of the heavy traffic on the site i thought. Determined, i entered my details a total of 7 times before i received a confirmation of my order. An e-mail would be sent to me to confirm. Brilliant, i had the tickets.

Mid afternoon i finally received my confirmation e-mail. 2 tickets for Oasis at Murrayfield on 17th June 2009. Superb. 10 minutes later i received another e-mail giving me confirmation of my tickets. I thought nothing of this second e-mail, until i received another, and another, and another, and another, and another. 7 e-mails. 7 e-mails with different reference numbers. 7 e-mails with different reference numbers, for the same gig, on the same day. 7 e-mails with different reference numbers, for the same gig, on the same day each confirming i had ordered 2 tickets. BOLLOCKS.

So, i wanted 2 of these golddust tickets for what could be the best gig ever. 14 of the fuckers are going to be winging their way to me sometime soon.

I am dreading my next credit card bill.
