- At Driftwood we aim to offer artists and bands alike a range of creative studios across the country that can meet budget and expectations. We understand the need for artists to be experimental and individual across all genres and we ensure that each session delivers this.
We offer artists the chance to write and record in an environment that they feel most productive in. These range from scenic locations to help solely concentrate on the music or to the middle of a hectic city.

September Update
Roisin and the Beards were in to mix their debut single " Meet me at the central bank ". The mix was completed by our engineer Jason Carroll and the mastering was completed by Dave Connaughton. The single has since been released and can be downloaded at DownloadMusic.ie
Rosie Ellis was also back in with us to begin mixing her debut album. 5 Tracks have been finished so far and the album is due for completion late November to late December. It promises to be a great album.

Our website ( driftwoodrecordings.ie ) is currently going through it's teething phase and we are running through everything to make sure that it's as user-friendly as possible. There is going to be some unique features on the site that we are sure will help budding and experienced artists to get ahead in the industry.... More updates to follow!

August Update
This month Rosie Ellis recorded her debut album in Data Studios with our engineer Jason Carroll. There are still some vocals to record at the end of the month. Mixing is due to begin at the start of September.
Roisin and the Beards were also due in Data Studios with us this month. They recorded their debut single "Meet me at the central bank". The Launch has been set for the 16th of September.

We almost have our website developed and hope to have it running in the next couple of weeks. The website will showcase our services as well as provide seasonal offers. We are also putting a section on the site that will put artists/bands in contact with Band Photographers and Web Designers. More info will follow the launch.
We have purchased the Misunderstood NS-10s. Used by mix engineers around the world, they have had a love and hate relationship in the industry. We love them! If it sounds good on NS-10s it will sound good on anything!.0 Comments 80 days

Just being curious, I've only started singing now for 2 years infront of people as i was shy, so now I do like the odd Karaoke night or whatever like, just wondering if could do something like use karaoke music of a famous song and me singing and get it recorded and made to sound more professional etc.... god I'm crap at wording things but do ya know what I mean, like have a few songs of me singing on CD's.
