I am calling on ALL my old band mates-where ever you may be-
I have the club from Noon till 2 am-
it's a nice sized room-we have PA and Lights-
there will be food,bands,band reunions,other artists,and other things happening-

"MATTFEST"2009-
Following in the footsteps of Ozzy,after thinking about all the bands,and players through all the years-I had an idea-
"Mattfest"
I AM CALLING ON ALL MY BANDS,I HAVE EVER PLAYED WITH-ALL THE GUYS AND GALS THROUGH THE YEARS-I HAVE EVER BEEN IN A BAND WITH ECT.
and of course friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Since,I have been "re-uniting with many of my old bands and people from here in Houston?I figured..........why not throw a party?A SUPER BAND RE-UNION?
All my bands,players and friends are invited to this event-
I am working to get a facebook event page for it,and also send out invites ect.flyers-the works,all to get the word out-
I do invite my bands and players from Dallas,Austin and San Antonio,
but also realize Houston is a long way-
this is my first event,I have ever promoted and organized myself-so wish me luck everyone-
If it works out well?There will be more "Mattfests"to follow-
For now "Mattfest"is what it is being referred to,for simply lack of better name,like SUPER BAND REUNION-

THE WEEKEND BEFORE HALLOWEEN-HAHA!
I do have the club,from noon till 2 am-
and also have slots open for bands in this area,

I allready have many bands confirmed so far,and am hoping many others I used to be with that are still around,will join the party,as well as other artists and players-I am hoping this may turn into a regular thing,or at least annual thing-we'll see-if interested in a slot,please contact me,and we'll set it up-if I do not run out of time slots for it-

ON A SAD NOTE-
yES,it's true folks-
"Seven Strings"band has split up at the moment,due to different things,as all bands do-plus,I am in Houston so much now,it just seems I have more work here,ect.I am still friends with the guys,and yes,I think at some point we may play again,never can tell-I do wish Travis Fulton all the best with his new band "Close Enough"
and also,say I miss you guys,and hope all of you are doing well,up in Dallas-and of course,ya'll are invited to Mattfest,if you can come,I realize Houston is far-


A FEW LAST WORDS TO SUM UP THIS POST-
Just want to again thank all of my friends,fans,and army,loyal supporters through out Texas,and the entire world-all of you?Are the best,I appreciate everyone of you,who has taken the time to become friend,or write in,comment my page ect.Not only here on myspace,but Reverbnation,R and R World,Famecast,Bebo,and especially Facebook.It's with your love and support,I am able to press on,I do not know what I would do with out your help-Please excuse me for slow replies,slow returns on friend requests,and comments,I am doing my best to keep up,but do not have my home system,with me-also,been out almost 8 nights a week somewhere-It is with all your love and support,that a "Mattfest"is possible-just something I have always wanted to do-at least once in a lifetime-
