Another long day, followed by another dull, insignificant snowy night. Hogwarts went silent hours ago, every student had been asleep by now - even those that would want to sneak out wouldn't be able to because of the cold. Yet, the fireplace in Severus' office lied dark, empty, an unimportant part of the decoration because he barely ever lighted it up. Too tired to focus on the cold or anything else for that matter, he leaned on the back of his chair and pulled a piece of yellowish parchment out of his pocket for the thousandth time during the day. He opened it and read the very few words, lost in thought still contemplating about whether he should respond or completely ignore it. He wouldn't send anything back, a yes or no, he wasn't interested, plus he had still not decided if he wanted to go or not. Most likely he would end up sitting there for hours and either would stand up on the last minute to make his way to Grimauld Place.

Or he would watch the time passing by, until it was too late to give in to his curiosity. Curiosity, the only reason he had to even consider to leave Hogwarts to meet one of the people he hated the most. Curiosity as to where Remus had been all these months and as to why he had chosen to contact with him first. It could have been a trick but no. He was never the one to start a trick against him, he had to admit that now, after all these years. A quick look at the clock on the wall - and he stood up to grab his long black coat. He still had an hour to go and find out what on earth was going on. He quickly left his office and locked it behind him before he walked towards the exit of the castle. Ten minutes later he was casting the usual protection spells on the great Gate as it closed behind him and walked further away before he could finally apperate to the only place he would never chose to visit if it was in his hand.

Twenty minutes later. And he was approaching the door to the house only he could see now in the deserted street. He half regretted that he had come but it was too late to turn around, too late and he knew he would also regret it if he left. A knock on the door and he waited, a knock loud enough for someone to hear it but he wished not strong enough to wake Mrs. Black's portrait. She was the last thing he wanted to hear right now that all he could do was wait for someone to open the door... Or not.

"Ok i hope you feel better" She walked up stairs to talk to the others she smiled as she walked up the stairs

She Smiles and walked in "i know but i heard you weren't well plus with all thats going on you never know who it might be" she looked down she was scared about the death eaters and everything else going on she really wanted it all to stop

Kristan was visting her family at the burrow she knocked on the door and was let in she saw you and smiled

"I suppose it depends on the soup." She smiled, taking her spoon.
"Thanks." she continued to eat her soup, thinking about how much she loved Remus.

Dora smiled, trying to cover the blush now creeping up her cheeks by taking her scarf off over her head "I don't mind . . . I'm not hungry but I'm bloody freezing!" she laughed slightly, going down and sitting on a chair near remus.

Nymphadora Tonks stumbled through the kitchen fireplace, stumbling slightly but suprisingly not managing to fall over. She smiled slightly, pulling her dull hair out of her face.
Making her way over to the table she finaly spotted Remus, she smiled, her hair tinting pink "Wotcher Remus."

"oh ok i hope you do stay. It would be lovely to have you here."hermione said smiling and looked at ron who was stuffing his face

"sorry...I was only..."
she trailed off shaking her head slightly, she was trying to be funny, she was trying to bring a little humour to the conversation, a small sigh escaped her lips and she mearly smiled softly as he thanked her for the scarf

she told him him as she continued to walk beside her

alastor stood up and walked after him "remus dont go, i am sorry is hould not of snapped like that, we all have our opinions of the man please come back, this is what voldermort wants to spread discomfort among us all remus sureley you must see that"

Shadow chuckled "Yeah Molly wantstoput the tree up" She smiled pouring him a hot steamng cuppa and placing it on the table "thanks remus its not often im well enough to cook aye" She chuckled softly smiling happily. It was rare shadow was happy but today she was

Hermione hesitated for a few moments as her eyes slowly followed Remus to the door. She folded her arms gently as she watched him. "I know I shouldnt. But its safe... at the moment. I only came out for some fresh air." She replied as she headed up to the door. She looked at Remus suspisiously as she passed him, walking through the door quietly. She turned around and looked at him, frowning softly in confusion. "Is everything alright?" She asked curiously.

Hermione saw someone coming closer. She saw it was Remus and stood up straight, sighing softly with relief. She paused at his question for a few moments then gently shrugged her shoulders. "I ... I couldnt sleep... thats all." She said with a small stutter as she shivered slightly. She narrowed her eyes towards him suspisiously for a few moments.

It was nearing midnight, Hermione was stood outside the burrow, leaning on one of the tall polls on the porch.She was there simply because she couldnt sleep, everything seemed to be piling into her mind at once and right now it was too much to bare, she hoped a bit of fresh air would solve a few things. She looked ahead onto the far distance, narrowing her eyes slightly. She couldnt see anything but grass, plain grass right ahead. She parted her lips, sighing gently as she tilted her head slightly, folding her arms. The sky was dark, darker than usual and their was hardly a grey cloud in site, the luminous moon was the only thing giving off light at the moment, it reflected right off Hermiones cheeks as she smiled softly to herself, thinking over a few recent memories. It was quiet, it gave Hermione time to think without hearing any mumbling around her, she liked that.

Shadow hummed gently as she began singing the words gently in french the lullabye was an acient one and she didnt know what it ment but she smiled still.

Shadow smiled "Hello remus...Care for a cuppa? you look half asleep I didnt wake you did i?"

"Sleeping...with her?"
Lily questioned almost childishly as she glanced to him with a small smirk upon her lips, she noticed his chattering teeth due to the coldness and pulled her scalf from her clock pocket, it smelt like her sweet perfume as she went to wrap it gently around Remus's neck
"there....the will warm you up"
she todl him with a little grin.

Lily smiled softly as she walked beside him with her arms wrapped around herself to keep her cloak closed and the warmth in, when he asked about christmas she gave a small shrugg of her shoulders
"Not really...I'll probably spend the day in my room back a number 12"
she told him, she had nowhere else to go or anyone to go too, so she figured she would spend it alone as she usually did sinceher husbands passing and her son;s aging.
