So excited that Blood Ties just won the Leeds Book Award! The ceremony was really good fun and I saw lots of great writers there like Kevin Brooks and Marcus Sedgwick. I started so many books before I got one published and have had about seven or eight come out since the - and of all of them, Blood Ties is my favourite so its really brilliant that its won a prize!! And soon I'm going to be writing a sequel which means getting back inside Rachel and Theo's heads and finding out more about their story... I can't wait !!!

I'm hoping to write a sequel to Blood Ties sometime soon - in the meantime I've just finished the first book of my new series, The Set-Up (another thriller!) which will come out in July.
