      As a mother, "take the bus" or "walk" easier said than done, the luggage almost = going on vacation the pram, nappy bag, hand bag, BABY! I have no choice but to drive my daughter to school everyday & pick her up. On top of that food has gone up.
      This is hitting the lower income family's so hard, this is a chain reaction, take Obesity the price of decent Healthy BASIC food is outrageous, Less children will play sports because of the cost of getting to practice & games, we're all going to become hermits, no more holidays or long weekend trips, what's stopping the growth of more single parent family's As we all know money problems is 1 of the top reasons for family breakdowns, more gambling MORE drug labs as it's easy money & with the comfort of our modern prisons more are probably willing to take the risk, e.g the recent spat of robbery's.
      Maybe i'm the only 1 who thinks this way but it's sad & i'm scared for my children & their future.

      Going to work to earn gas money to GET to work!

      Purchase of gasoline over the past week as a percentage of 91-101 has dropped by 1.5% compared to previous national sales figures. Keep up the good work!.

      We are also more reliant on change coming from the government rather than direct B.P, etc tax rates/cuts.

      Each pertroleum site is also dependent on targets including bp hq.

      since our government getn a cut 2 I wonder what would happen if all BP workers went on strike???

      if not that the government needs 2 subcidise for lower income families that NEED fuel like the community services card.

      mikey t. whats so good bout the quality in their fuel? its stil the same fuel as any of its competition 95,96,91 apart frm the 98 which once transported frm the refinary looses 10octane... any way the point of this page is a bout bp being the first to raise prices etc. . .

      This is really pathetic. There is really nothing wrong with BP. They have by far the best quality fuel in the country, they recently celebrated their 100th Anniversary (so they must be doing something right), and BP's fule prices are justified, since they ship alot of it from places like Spain and Lithuania. Grow up and get a life.

      Funny that u guys say that yet it is still the biggest oil company in the world and no matter if u boycot it the prices will go up whether it b BP or Shell its gunna happen no matter what.... Boycotting is the exact wrong thing to do as all NZ's BPs are privately owned these businesses make very little profit off fuel all the maintenece that goes into a fuel staion by idiots that crash into pumps or drive off without paying is who u need to crack down on.. LESS BUSINESS=HIGHER PRICES... duh...
