Should i join as a gunner first and then wen i have experience apply for officer or join as an officer 1st wen i have the qualifications???

is every 1 thick??? i am 13 and i no what qualifications i need to be an officer i no how long training is (22-24 weeks) i no every thing there is to no by going on to the RAF website

Im sorry about my swearing, I didnt realise it at the time. Its just so frustrating as no one else understands what his parents have said to him and what he has said to me about it. His parents have practically bribed and pushed him into applying. He still thinks that the Regiment is not front line. He won't listen to any one else but his parents.

Any suggestions on what I can do to make him see sence in waiting. His parents have pushed and pushed him to apply now and have filled his head with alot of shit. He's still a kid deep down and is not in the right state of mind to do anything like this at all. He said that people dying around him on the battlefield wouldnt affect him and all this crap.
He honestly has no idea what its like. He keeps saying that his mum wants him to do it and that they would be proud of him. He won't even listen to a freind of myne who has done most of the training and has come out.

....work his way up to be an RAF Police Officer. As I mentioned his parents have practically brainwashed him into doing it. He thinks that the Regiment arn't on the front line, and that his reasons for joining are because of the pay and the sport. His parents have told him utter shit about what its like and he won't listen to any one else who says that he should go to college or 6th form first before applying. As having those extra qualifications will mean he could join as an officer straight away on a much higher salary etc..

His parents still ground him and he has to ask permission to come out all the time. He has to be in at no later than 9 and his still picks his nose and eats it for fuck sake. He hates being told what to do and at times can be really lasy. He has no idea about what the lifestyle is all about etc... He thinks that training will be easy and that heyl save all his money he gets.

My m8 has applied to join the RAF Regiment, he's done his aptitude test and his interview and has also had his medical test, in which he failed it becuase the Doctor was unsure about some injections he had a couple of years ago, but it potentially could be ok. Aside from that he says he is adament on joining the regiment and gets back from his 6 week holiday at the begining of September. He then will hear if he can join becuase of his medical issue. Then onto PGAC if he is ok and still wants to do it.

He's 16 years old and doesnt really no alot about the military at all, let alone anything about drill, marching and firing weapons etc. His plan orginally was to go to 6th form or college first and then get his A levels and join as a Policeman and then work his way up to Police Officer in which you need to be 21.
