Haven't updated my blog for ages so thought it was time. Well basically this hol I have been in Berlin on a history trip. Well what can I say I had a BRILLIANT time! Great fun had lots of laughs. In brief I left school on Friday at 11.30 a.m. and then arrived in Stanstead around 5 to check in. Our flight was delayed for 2 and a half hours so didn't reach our youth hostel till some early time in the morning in German time! Woo! After 4 hours of sleep we awoke to horrible German breakfast.... mmmm plastic cheese and salami (ewwww!)
We went to lots of different museums in the day like a palace of a German King who liked dogs, a German Resistance museum, Check point Charlie museum and a Concentration Camp
At night we went to the hostel bar (drank and played pool) went to Hagen Das ice cream place, to a restaurant and went to an irish pub! Very good fun
We then got back to Monmouth at 3.15 in the morning! Fun fun fun!
Anyho that was Berlin!
