Eastlife.....What a magazine!!!!!
BUNDI
I WAS IN A QUEUE WHICH WAS A LINE
WAITING TO OBTAIN A PLANE TICKET
MY HOROSCOPE SAID I WOULD BE FINE
WHEN I SAW MY DOG I SAID I'D KICK IT
YOU SEE THE DOG WAS REALLY SHY
BUT I TOLD IT NOT TO FRET
MY BROTHER WAS A REALLY NICE GUY
AND ANSWERED TO THE NAME BRET
EACH MORNING I HAD MY EGG SCRAMBLED
SO MY STOMACH WAS LIKE A MINEFIELD
TO THE JACKS I RAMBLED
AND TOOK A BIG SHIT!!!

2 Scullys, a Wade and an O’ Donoghue alone in Liverpool! (detailed description):
well i suppose it all started with a sudden explosion of noise….that of coarse being the piercing noise dreaded by everyone….an alarm! however being such a beautiful morning in more than 1 sense i was delighted for the day to begin. next we began what was going to be a long days travelling by first of all getting a bus to cork. it didn’t take long for the jokes and pranks to begin (black pudding in a fruit bowl???) and already the mood amongst us was that of a child on christmas morning! however that was soon about to change as the next thing we had to do was endure a gruelling bus journey to dublin! 4 long hours it took and we were delighted when it was over! this feeling of relief didn’t last long as next up was yet another bus journey to the airport! due to traffic congestion this took far longer than expected and when we finally arrived at the airport the only thing we wanted was a drink! we found the most convenient (closest) bar and enjoyed our 1st of many drinks! we horsed it back as we were in a rush to catch the flight! our rushing of the pint soon became a waste as we later found out that the flight was delayed so we could have had a lot more! we then made the short flight to manchester and went to the train station (not without the odd difficulty mind you as we got lost on more than 1 occasion). we were delighted to see that the shops there sold alcohol so we kicked back and had a few more! in fact scully was so impressed with the place he has decided to have his 18th there (only place he thought he’d get served…if you haven‘t already noticed scully was being ridiculed for being the only non 18 year old in the group)! we then made the short train journey to liverpool, made our way to our 5 star hostel and took a brake for half an hour! then it was time to sample the nightlife of liverpool. we had a brilliant night, drinking copious amounts of alcohol and clubbing until all hours. next morning arrived and some of us were feeling the effects of not only a hangover but a serious lack of sleep so what we had planned to be a good mornings shopping turned into a relatively quick visit to the clubshop the get some merchandise for the match! then it was back to the hostel for a quick rest. on our way back i spotted a bus and i noticed the sign on it said ‘aston villa team coach’ but i couldn’t convince the boys to get out with me! after a bit of rest the lads restored a bit of sense and we decided to go back down and see if we could get to meet a few players! we got pictures with legends such as- milan baros, gareth barry and chris sutton (which i will gladly accept the praise for as it was a top drawer spot by me)! after seeing the whole villa team we made our way up to the stadium to restore some fluids in our body and get our voices into singing mode! the atmosphere was immense and the craic was mighty! after we had oiled our rusty throats we made our way into the stadium! this is probably the only time the 4 of us weren’t together for the trip as scully and nick were in their ‘close to the dugout’ seats and wade and myself were in the mighty kop! the atmosphere was mental and was an experience to treasure! 13 minutes of possibly liverpool’s best football this season produced 3 fine goals and the place was rupturing with noise! even though liverpool were on top i must say i was glad when half time came because it gave us time for a quick breather plus it gave us a chance to see people like scully (i.e. U-18’s) get awards! the 2nd half wasn’t as good as the 1st as villa had the better of it but it was still a great atmosphere! liverpool won the game 3-1 and after the game we just didn’t want to leave the stadium! when we eventually left we headed into the town to top up in some badly needed food! we then headed back to the hostel where we got some well needed rest and then the time came to yet again head out and enjoy the nightlife! liverpool is definitely a great place to go out and the5 Comments 342 weeks

Liverpool Chants Past and Present:
You’ll Never Walk Alone:
When you walk through a storm,
Hold your head up high,
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm,
There's a golden sky,
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown..
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone.
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone.
You'll never walk alone.
La Bamba:
Ra-ra-rafa, Ra-ra-rafa,
Ra-ra-ra-rafa benitez,
Ra-ra-ra-rafa benitez,
Xabi Alonso, Garcia and Momo…..
A song for Sami Hyypia:
Oh Sami Sami
Sami Sami Sami Sami Hyypia....
Michael Owen Won us the cup:
1-0 down
2-1 up
Michael Owen won the cup
With a top class Paddy pass gave the lad the ball
Poor old arsenal won f*ck all
A song for Jerzy Dudek:
We've got a big pole in our goal,
We've got a great big pole in our goal ,
We've got a big pole in our goal ,
We've got a big pole in our goal.
A song for King Luis:
Luis Garcia,
He drinks sangria,
He came from Barca to Liverpool,
He’s 5 foot 7,
Its football heaven,
Please don’t take our Luis away….
A song for Steven Gerrard:
Steve Gerrard, Gerrard,
He’ll pass the ball 40 yards,
He’s big and he’s fucking hard (he‘s better than Frank Lampard),
Steve Gerrard, Gerrard….
A song for Morientes:
More, more, more, Morientes, Morientes….
A song for Rafa:
Rafa-Rafael, Rafa-Rafael,
Rafa-Rafael, Rafael Benitez….
To commemorate or fantastic achievement:
We won it 5 times,
We won it 5 times,
In Istanbul we won it 5 times…
A song for Carra:
We all dream of a team of Carraghers,
A team of Carraghers,
A team of Carraghers,
We all dream of a team of Carraghers
A team of Carraghers,
A team of Carraghers….
A song for Danny Murphy:
Super, super Dan

Super, super Dan
Super Danny Murphy.

Anfield in the Rare Oul Times:
(To the tune of "Dublin in the Rare Oul Times")
Raised on Rush and Hansen
Heroes of the Red
A brave Attacking football that left the rest for dead
The Hallowed Turf and trophies
The Kops chanted Rhymes
Were part of what was Anfield in the rare oul times
Ring a ring a rosie
As the light declines
We're a part of what was Anfield in the rare oul times
Standing on the Kop with friends
Singing, swaying too
Watching Reds with glory
But that was long ago
Now we watch in fear and anger
As money takes our game
And Anfield keeps on changing
Nothing seems the same
McDonalds before Shankly
Reebok Carlsberg too
And though we still feel angry
Theres nothing we can do
On the pitch theres hope again
Off it still declines
We"re a part of what was Anfield in the rare oul times
Ring a ring.........
But we gave our hearts to Liverpool
And there they'll always stay
With a great undying passion
No money takes away
We'd live and die for Liverpool
But our hearts will always swell for
Shankly Paisley Fagan
And the old ground we loved so well
Bill Shankly From Glenbuck:
(To the tune of Sean South)
Twas on a cold December?s day
Back in 1959,
When a man came down from Hudersfield Town
To lead the Anfield line,
He bought Yeats from Dundee and St. John,
And the football world was shook,
This man he became a legend,
Bill Shankly from Glenbuck.
On the Kop we'd sway and sing
Till our hearts would burst with pride
And Shanks he made a pact with us
To build another side
With Keegan, Tosh and Steve Heighway
The great man k2 Comments 364 weeks
