KateModern, CBS, and LG15

There’s been a lot going on behind-the-scenes at EQAL and we wanted to let all of you in on the excitement.

First, as you may have already heard, KateModern is coming to a close with the final episodes going live in June. Our goal is to produce the most compelling interactive shows and when we first decided to create KateModern we knew that it would make the most sense to plan for a defined beginning, middle, and end in order to create the most compelling narrative and community experience. The plot is wrapping up and many of the twists and turns will come to a resolution sending the characters we all love in interesting new directions. Stay tuned for exciting new announcements about the the KateModern finale on Inside LG15.

Second, we just announced an incredibly exciting partnership with CBS that we think is truly gamechanging for this burgeoning new medium of social entertainment. The partnership will enable us to take current and upcoming CBS TV shows (both shows on the network and shows on other networks that are produced by CBS Entertainment) and create online interactive narratives that tie directly into the TV narrative. EQAL producers and showrunners will be working with CBS producers and showrunners at the script level to create a truly seamless experience that will take viewers from the TV episode into an online, interactive narrative that is as immersive and exciting as lonelygirl15 and KateModern. Additionally, we will be pitching completely original multi-platform concepts to CBS. Needless to say, we are very excited.

Finally, we are working on something very exciting within the LG15 Universe. A new website. A new show. Your favorite characters and an exciting journey to uncover a secret that could bring down the Order once and for all… stay tuned."

He continued, “The extended narratives online will give fans and viewers the opportunity for a whole new level of engagement both in between airings of the TV episodes and as stand-alone plot lines."

This saddens me greatly,

The quality of Writing and Production was and still is FAR superior to what is currently being passed off as interactive web based series,In particular the nonsensical farce that LG15 has descended into,

We are ALL very proud to have played a part in this ground-breaking series and I would like to think we have made friends and allies with Staff and Actors alike,it was a major part of the interactivity that everyone was so accessible and welcoming,

Are we now to be subjected to "Bouncy and Flouncy"and the rest of that 'TAAG' nonsense' being forever chased by Black SUV's and Black suits with Guns...Ad Nauseum...? Well not this old dinosaur!

I started watching LG again when KM first came out- to maintain a comparison,I can find no reason for that to continue now,I refuse to be subjected to over-americanised teenage angst and the so-called Phan interaction that has descended into what is the Phorum,and over-enthusiastic 'Firsters' and 'Meepers,

ETA:So Creators...And i don't mean KMP CREW!..
all the time we have spent building an online community via KM,all the bebo sites that we subscribed to,the strong fan base that has been CREATED BY US!!!!! All the emotional investments.....

You want to explain to the fans that they NOW have to undo all of that after 28th of JUNE ,In the misguided hope that we are stupid enough to start watching some played out lg15 crap that manages to repeat itself nearly every 6 episodes, you are either stupid,ignorant or both!
You should hang your heads in SHAME!

Bearing in mind they have just alienated their entire Non-US fan base I am not surprised,
