During biology class one day, myself and Ciarán were discussing comics we drew back in the day. We also talked about the success of some webcomics (Cyanide and Happiness being a favourite of both of us). I made the suggestion that we have go at our own webcomic and Ciarán agreed. With a bit of googling I came across comicgenesis.com, which looked like the perfect home for our comic, while our classmates were made critics for sketches, reactions ranging from laughter to puzzlement. We got the name "The Splintered Stream" from a random book title generator, we picked "The Splintered Stream" as felt it suited the comic well. Once we got the go ahead with comicgenesis we were set. A bit of messing around with HTML and photoshop and a semi-decent website was whacked together. And wahey! We were off!
