So the exams have started (9 to go for me) and as I start to think about the future and life away from school and people I see everyday, I remember that there is always modern technology to save me from loneliness, boardom and self deprecation. That was he reason I decided to join the social networking sensation that has griped our generation (I'm getting good at this bloging lark aren't I), it allows everyone to know everything about everyone. In fact the letters BEBO stand for “Blog early, blog often”, although I think I'll stay away from the 'blog often' idea - I'd run out of things to say. But if you are wondering why a person like me would ever even consider having a bebo account, its because I think that everyone has something inside them that needs to be shared with the world. There are many unhappy souls in this world who die without sharing this gift, but maybe we can put an end to this and set free our inner self happiness with the help of the internet. Yes so school comes to an end on Tuesday and I'm sure that it will be a very emotional day far all students, but remember there will always be cyber-space release the happiness of your soul.

Well this is my first blog so I better introduce myself. I'm 16 and not what you'd call the average teenager, or the average Irishman either. I don't drink alcohol or swear (I've just realized that swear has 'ear; in it) I never plan to, not that i have anything against anyone who does drink alcohol or swear. Most people would think that being Irish I naturally walk out of my mother drinking, but for some reason I've never felt the urge. I also don't smoke, mainly because I have had rather bad personal experience with cigarettes, 3 of my grandparents died from the effects of smoking or it being a major contributory factor. So I kind of think that people who smoke have something a bit wrong with them mentally, well think about it smoking is just a long, slow and painful, not to forget expensive, suicide. You might as well jump of a bridge. I am a very proud Irishman, almost put it as high on my list of priorities as being a Manchester United fan. Irish people are often considered to be the friends of the world, always happy and jolly. I try and live up to the stereotypes, but I can sometimes be too honest. In fact I'm amazed some of my friends still talk to me (hi Pete, Oli, James, Badger, etc...). But if you ever want to want some advice or need to talk about something, there is no one better than me. Over the next few weeks I'll be keeping you up to date with my life and how I strive on through my GCSEs. Goodbye, thanks for reading
