- The Dons aka Aberdeen Football Club! In addition to football, the beautiful game, I am a massive fan of tennis, snooker, squash (under 14 Shetland Champion!!) and also run. I also row in the summer and used to play table tennis. I now play pool for the aptly named Eccentric"s team in the Shetland League Divison 1 which keeps me in shape.

- Women with beards!! Queues! Turkish Delight - euch! The "American Notebook" feature in the Shetland Times. People who gossip. Shaving. Cleaning the wax out of my ears with a cotton bud, West-Coast media bias and the BT Home Hub.
- If I Could Go Back In Time......
- ....I would travel back to 1983 and join the St Clair setting sail to Gothenburg in order to witness a historic moment which will be remembered for decades to come. Yes, the Glory of Gothenberg, where an Aberdeen side managed to overcome European giants Real Madrid and lift the European Cup Winners Cup!!
