“I love reading, especially all those romance books, and I love romantic films like A Walk To Remember, and I like vampire movies Underworld and Resident Evil and Van Helsing as well, and -” Divine Krowitz.

“What’s wrong, Mercy?” Liam Bookham.
“I… I think I want to leave my job… b-because I want a child.” Mercy Scarlett.

“I’m not having kittens, I’m having children.” Mercy Scarlett.

“Mercy, have you heard about the approaching apocalypse?” Donovan Pierce.

Mercy Scarlett is a Vrael vampire who fights for the good side. One day, her life changes forever when she meets Liam Bookham, a human who she saves from a vampire. She never expected that he would be her Soulmate or that he would change her life…

I guess I should introduce myself. I was born in 1990, April the 30th, which would make me 18 now. My parents are Patience Scarlett and Dean Krowitz. Patience is 38, and Dean is 40. I love them, well of course I would, they’re my own parents, and they’re rather helpful. I’m an Avenger, a vampire who fights for the good of the world.

There are many supernatural forces in the world, and one of two of them main ones are the vampires. There are two types of vampires. The Vrael, who can eat; drink, reproduce, and are basically like humans, except for the vampire factors, and the Voltraime, the vampires who are made and can’t do anything that resembles human traits, unlike the Vrael. My parents and I are Vrael, and since vampires can also stop aging, I’ve stopped my ageing at my current age. I’d really like to be 18 forever. My mother stopped aging at 25, and my father at 27. People usually confuse me for my mother’s sister. Anyways, all vampires are like humans. They squabble, fight over petty things, have emotions, and can be lovers, that sort of thing. The only difference would be that vampires have powers, weaknesses that humans wouldn’t even be able to identify.

I’m an only child, and proud to be. Who wouldn’t? So I’m the only heir of my parents, which is why, other than that they love me, they try to keep me alive in my line of work, which involves ending up in the secret underground vampire hospitals quite a lot. But I like it; I have good friends, I’m not poor, and the saving people thing gives me a kick, though I don’t think of myself as a champion, hero, whatever you want to call it.

My powers include: Telekinetic abilities (can move things with my mind); Telepathic abilities (Can hear all people’s and vampire’s thoughts); Wind breath, the ability to have less sleep (I haven’t slept in years); Heat breath; super speed/hearing/sight/smell /strength; flying abilities; walking/seeing through walls; tough skin (bullets, anything man-made can’t hurt me); laser-beam eyes, and my element is fire, which means I can use fire for anything I do. Not all people have abilities like mine, it’s just that my family are quite powerful, and I inherited quite some qualities though my ancestral line.

My weaknesses include: Pure sunlight actually does harm vampires, except if they wear a metal called Plorus Thenetas anywhere on their body, which I have on a chain around my neck in the shape of the sun, so I can pass as human. The only wood that harms vampires is Ash wood, and that’s very rare. Apart from that, vampires are invincible. Vampires can also go in holy places and carry holy items, if they want to be holy. After all, they are like humans.

One last thing: I have lots of incarnations of myself, so the only way people recognise me every time I have a new incarnation is because of the pendant around my neck.

I mentioned that vampires were one of two ruling forces; the other are things which we cannot even utter, becasue then we'll be called upon by the Grim Reaper - but hear this, they are the bogeymen of vampire kind.
And there are also plenty of other unmentionable monsters which could destroy the universe...
