Film Competition!
Hey all, I work with the company AppSecInc. They have created the Database Security Cinema Smackdown Contest and Festival. Just make a 1-3 minute video about pretty much anything you want. You must use the phrase “Database Security is important" somewhere in the video and you could win up to $2,000.*
Finalists will also get added exposure through the appsecinc.com website and will also be featured to thousands of viewers at an upcoming trade show event. The winner will also be highlighted in this fall’s Boston Film night.

In response to recent events in the Middle East, Labour Youth will be supporting the anti-war National Demonstration this Saturday, July 29th.
We would welcome your support at this event in solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon. We will be meeting at the Garden of Remembrance at 2pm. The march will proceed to the Dail and then onto the Central Bank on Dame Street, where Michael D.Higgins will be speaking.

I'm putting on a one-man show - 'Jesus: The Guantanamo Years' in the Project Arts Centre, from July 3rd-8th. More details on my Bebo page. The show will be competing with 1,800 others at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August, but already it's been spotted by the BBC, the Scotsman and Reuters (links on my bebo page).
Would anyone in film-makers be interested in coming down and filming the show some evening? Preferably between Thur 6th - Sat 8th. It'd only take a couple of hours - the show itself is 50 mins long. Might be a good one for the CV.
