Is it a dream or do I remember,
This amazing other life,
Where I had to make no effort,
To make the days go by.
Now it seems like something’s missing,
The days all seem so long,
I endlessly try to figure out,
Just what it is that’s gone.
Was I dreaming that I walked with you?
Wherever you wanted to go,
How can I create your laugh?
All that magic in its sound.
The feelings that you gave to me,
I take wherever I will go,
Are you real or are you fantasy,
Is too much to want to know?
Though no one else can see it,
Somewhere inside me I’m in pain,
The longing to have you in my arms,
It’s driving me insane.
Every single time I close my eyes,
I beg to see that scene.
The moment I first see your eyes,

Who so often feels so sad
Trapped in a world you don’t like
